About Revenge is Sweet and the jelly-texture...I LOVE that texture...generally though, it's available more cheaply from other brands,...but since this is Disney, and VV...I'm tempted. Is it still sticky like other lipglasses, or is it less sticky than usual?

I'm still wanting the green side of SWD, but that blue side is giving me hard time, just because I have Blue Flame and I haven't even used it once! I absolutely love the green, but I don't know should I buy it just for that, also the blue side being much bigger?

Toxic Tale better not be too pink! I love bright oranges, but neonish fluorescent pink corals are not for me. I need it to look orangey on me!

My list is still pretty much the same. I want to see Darkly My Dear and Her Own Devices in person, I think those have potential to be very pretty for neutral cheeks. Especially if DMD is a rosey/brownish/plummy in colour and not just dirty brown, and HOD could add a lovely sheen to it, atleast this is what I'm hoping.

I saw a dream about this collection, I was swatching and comparing Resort Life and Devilishly Stylish. I thought in my dream that I shouldn't buy RL because I never thought much of it (but the MA thought it would be great on me). But DS was a pretty shimmery nude I had been wanting. I love Mac dreams!

I found it funny how the preview party was so chaotic and the next day VV was out and no one was near it looking at it when I came in and nothing was sold out.

I don't know what Cubic is but HOD it is very different from prim & proper. P&P is a way more pigmented nude and has this unique rosyness to it. HOD is more chalky, and flat, the color is also different. I swatched it a few times and it's not very memorable.

I was thinking of getting Innocense Beware! which swatched well on my hand but everytime I see a lip swatch, it looks very streaky and dry. I also don't think it's very unique so Ill proly just get Toxic Tale which reminds me of candy in the tube.

I am the opposite. I don't want it look orange! lol I think it will look more like in the tube on paler skintones and on darker skintones, it looks alot more pink from what Ive seen.

It will look great paired with Strange Potion even tho SP is dupable.

How does Briar Rose compare to Dame, Well Dressed and Pink Swoon? I own these three and don't know if BR is unique enough to justify another pink blush. XD

no problem. its thick, jelly-ish, but not sticky.

I also love the green color in the MES, but I refuse to pay full price just for that amount of product because I have Blue Flame. I will not be surprised if MAC comes out withe a green one next year, I will be all over that then

If you want the green shade and might use the blue side too get SWD and sell your unused Blue Flame?

I'm starting to feel we've spent too much time talking about this collex. I also had a MAC dream this week but it wasn't as good as yours. There was this awful liquid multipurpose product and the MAs were forcing everybody to try and buy it. They used it on their cheeks and lips but it looked like a red wine stain or like somebody rubbed blueberries to your cheeks. You weren't suppose to blend it at all either. It was just horrible

I have Instant Chic (which I LOVE ) and Marine Life - is Bite of an Apple similar to these colors? I've heard a few people say it's similar to Marine Life.

It's not at all similar to Instant Chic IMO. It's kind of similar to the coral side of Marine Life, but I would say that the colours are definitely distinct enough to justify owning both. BoaA is a matte, so the colour tends to show more. ML is softer-looking and more shimmery, especially when mixed with the pink side.

I went to Nordies yesterday & the coveted VV items were in a clear "lock box" on display

So, I wanted to see Frankly Scarlet blush & the MAC MA said its in the VV collection

omg! I actually laughed out loud & said, no that is BOA. To make things worse, the other MA said, I have never heard of that color

The displays were SO gross I refused to even touch anything. Lipstick smeared all over the place & looked like someone chewed them

gloss stuck all over everything, product laying all over the place. It was just one big EEEWWW

Hilarious, I'm having a serious laugh here, thank you! I can totally imagine that scene - MAs forcing people to put on liquidy awfulness and make you buy it! So funny!

Maybe that reflects your inner fears what the new magically cool liquid powder will be like?

Btw, I talked to my favorite MA (she's back yay!) and she told VV should be out October 1st, so next friday!

The last few times I've been to look when new collections were coming out I had the same reaction, "I never heard of that item" or "I don't know if that's a color we have" and it just totally blows me away that they have no clue. I can't say I've ever come across a display that was so nasty I didn't touch it. Maybe you should go back over and give those ladies a VV tutorial!!

welp. while trying to ignore the siren song of sephora, i ordered the two orly dupes for Formidable! and Mean and Green. They probably won't get here by the time I go to get my face painted, but i had to get my clicking finger primed for the promise of goodies tomorrow.

so far my list hasn't changed in the past two days, so I think I'm ready.

It is closer to Well Dressed, Coygirl and Dame. It is a cool, frosty blue-pink. Pink Swoon is brighter and warmer. If you put a frosty pink highlighter on top of Well Dressed, Coygirl or Dame, you would get the same look as Briar Rose. It most closely resembles Don't Be Shy from Barbie.
