I use the 131 to get more color as I have found the 129 applies too light on me. The 129 should be fine. I think no matter what brush you use, you have to apply it lightly if you want lighter coverage

I have another question about the nail lacquers: what do they feel like? By that I mean, can you feel the glitter on your nails? The texture? Because if they're gritty, I can pass for sure. Or do they feel smooth?

but its got to be the Chanel site not the ipad I'm thinking

I feel secure that I had my new more local MAC at Macys hold my VV items

no worries ordering on the site & somethin getting crazy. This will be the first time in many years that I will not be ordering a new collection online

plus, I'll get it earlier instead of waiting on shipping.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention it. I only got it Wednesday, so I'm still playing with it. I like it a lot so far. It was a gift from my mom (my cousin talked her into buying because trust me when I say, my mom doesn't know an ipad from an iphone from a pocket watch). The only thing that sucks is that I can't get flash on it and so some videos won't play on a particular website and youtube videos aren't clear. The battery life is amazing, though.

In ordering new collections from Mac lately, I am surprised that even though I choose standard, I get it two days later which is either the day before or the day of the store release. If I miss out on the blush online then I will have to run up to the mall after work since I happen to get off super early that day. See how that works out?

I don't think the brush really matters. I think you just need to pat it on first. That's what I do with my intense nars blushes, especially. Pat some color on your cheeks and then blend it out and build it up if necessary.

(I feel like such an asshat for having two or three posts after each other, but I always find something else to say

Re: MAC - Venomous Villains discussion

Okay Ladies, I feel the need to share this information with you after playing with some of the VV goodies last week. I am an eyeshadow addict and have over 250 MAC eyeshadows, so it takes a really interesting shadow for me to purchase now, so as soon as I saw some of these new VV shadows, I went immediately to the permanent collection and found dupes for the Evil Queen Shadows.

The light purple is an exact dupe for Beautiful Iris. They are both VPs, so since I own both BI and the light purple from Dear to Ware, I am passing on this shadow.

The darker purple to me, had a horrible consistency. Maybe it's because I'm a VP/Starflash whore, but I hated this shadow. It's permanent collection dupe: Purple Haze. PH has an awful texture as well, and when I swatched them side by side, it was a powdery ugly mess.

The Vainglorious shade is a dupe for Star Violet. These had different textures, but I actually prefer Star Violet. It may be a *tad* bit browner/bronzer than SV but to me, not worth the purchase.

I am seriously debating whether or not to get the Mineralized eyeshadows. I didn't play with them because I have never been a fan of MES, but these are absolutely huge and it looks like the color payoff is pretty decent.

Also, I don't know if this has been said, but my MA said the price jump in products is only for this launch, since it is Disney. Also interesting is the guidelines for counters/stores when it comes to what associates can wear. Licensing for this collection is crazy, kind of like Hello Kitty. I am so so so so so excited to get my stuff this week!

brash and bold is nice, very pigmented, not very 'frosty' its a reddish pink, its nice, but not a colour you could use all the time, so the jar will last forever, ive also mixed it with gloss to make a lippie!

The good part in my dream was that Stockmann had a this brand new floor for cosmetics and the roof was made of glass so the lighting was amazing. That'll never happen for real but I was in makeup heaven (until the liquid part started).

Yay! I managed to arrange a visit to Helsinki next weekend so I should be there next Friday!

Oh that new floor for cosmetics would be heaven!

I'll try to be there when they open, that way I won't see just sold out-stickers like with style black!

I like the look of brash and bold. Glad to hear that it's very pigmented.

I've never mixed anything before, but it sounds tempting!

Can you just add pigment into a gloss? Sorry for the beginner question!

I personally do not think that it is like Star Violet. SV - well, more violet & more duochrome looking. Vainglorious is more of a rich burgundy copper brown

Coral Reef is more intense and SP has more of a pink undertone...

Re: MAC - Venomous Villains discussion

!!!!*******??????!!!!! My computer still has a virus! I am on it now and it's only letting me view about 1/2 page before it kicks me out! I am trying to post as fast as I can. Thank God I have the work computer tomorrow. Since I heard it's coming out at approx. 6 pm eastern tom, I have to stay at work until I can order. This means, if that info is not right, I can be there all night. And I will be if that's what it takes. This is just nuts. I am praying that this comes out early tomorrow.

Hubby and I are fighting over this right now. He thinks I am nuts but I've been waiting for SO LONG - as we all have. He is pissed when I say I'll stay at work....
