Hey all I'm new, been lurking for awhile....lol. Anyway this collection is the first one I have been so scared about not getting what I want (marine life...wasn't interested, and sr wouldn't look good on me in my opinion). I have things on hold on nordstrom, went to check today but of course some dense girl was there that I've never seen and she didn't seem to know anything about the hold. She just told me to stop by tomorrow at ANY time.....yea right. I will be there when it opens. Anyways, I put on hold

Isn't that just lovely? Sickening. The MAs at my counter (not my MA) were acting really brand new so far this week too and it seems like it's getting worse. I have to make sure to call again tonight to make sure my stuff is all there. I don't want any picking business going on. I've heard that has happened to some here and there where I read online. Heart breaking at the same time.

I'm in Canada and ordered with standard shipping on the night VV came on the website. I just got my Fed Ex shipping notification! I ordered popular stuff like Bite of an Apple... I didn't get any emails saying I wouldn't get it. So we will see.

I was wondering if I needed it as I don't really have nudes (somehow, I have a memory implanted in my head tha nudes look horrid on me due to a photo-shoot I had once) but I read that it applies streaky and makes the lips look bad and temptalias swatch of it proves that...

Ill just wait until one comes out with my prefered texture, lustre or amplified!

just so you know, macy's charges $5.95 shipping. the shipping sucks, but atleast you'll get what you want.

I ordered She who dares, OSF and Bite of Apple (all three are shipping) and also Vex pro pan. I passed on the lippies~was going to order innocence beware~too late but if it's streaky

-I'll pass; I do have other nudes!!

I do have the greengrease greasepaint stick from a swap I haven't used yet~wonder what it would look like under She who dares!!

I'm worried about that too! The MAs at my counter are all very laid back, which is great sometimes, but not great when you have a collection like this! When I called to change my order for the last time, I had her read me my list to make sure it was correct, and she didn't know what some of the products were.

I mean, they have my list right, so that's awesome, but I don't think they have actually set aside my stuff yet.

I seem to be the only crazy MAC addict though- whenever I call about my order, they immediately know who I am before I say my name. Maybe I'm the only one?

PS: I do really wanna try Strawberry Fields. If not just for the name, the gorgeous texture!

And I passed on Revenge is Sweet, singer82, because of the upcoming lip products.

In anticipation of my new arrivals tomorrow (and early next week), I've been cleaning off my counter. Whenever I get new lovelies, their home is on a part of my counter in bathroom (master bathroom, my side. luckily my husband is on the other so I don't have to compete for counter space room).
So, when a new collection comes out, the new items live on that space for a while, so they get special treatment.
This time, however, I really went to town cleaning and rearranging.
I felt guilty taking my Felines items off their pedastals....
BUT,
I'm soooooooooooo excited for my new goodies to see their new home!!!
This home is then divided into boroughs... lipstick borough, shadow borough... etc... omg..
am I really typing this?

I came home to my package waiting on my step. I love it. I'm amazed that BOA looks much better in my lighting than it did in the Mac store. Unbelievable. The enablers that I threatened can rest easy because I love it

. Loving BR also, but I still hate the graphic on the compact. It's comical, but I love that it has a mirror. Very happy. Now if I hit a Mac store this weekend I'll see if Bad Fairy is still available and I'll swatch French Quarter again. I also like Her Own Devices so I'll see about that.

The cleaning! YES! I went out a few weeks ago and got new storage stuff and some new boxes to make room for the newbies! hee!
