I have the pink Clarisonic and I was so scared to use it at first. Seriously, I think it took me a few months to get up the nerve to try it. Now, I love it! It's really made a difference in my skin and I can't imagine not having it. I started out using it a few times a week (sensitive skin, I was scared) and now I use it once a day. Love, love, love it.

VV: My black boxes will be here on Monday (called CS yesterday just to make sure) and I can't wait! I'll have to find DMD somewhere, I'm thinkin I need it. I have a feeling that I'll need a backup of IB after I try it on, so I'll be hunting for that too.

I have 10 pages to catch up on but I just wanted to post a pic of my eyes from today in case I fall asleep before i get finished reading. lol.

Sorry for the horrible quality! We went to the L.A. county fair today so i was pressed for time. I just took a cell pic which, didn't come out all that great.

Anywho, I am wearing My Dark Magic MES, and vanilla pigment in the inner corners. Oh and I used glamour check and sketch in my crease to blend. I think it came out fantastic! Love love love this MES!! Colors are gorgeous!!

I will try and re-create tomorrow and get a better picture for you all to see <3

I wanted to look in the mirror all evening, it's that gorgeous! This, with DS ans I,B! are the best buys from this collection for me. Oh, and I dusted some Oh So Fair above DMD and it was lovely.

Even I haven't tested DS or I,B! on lips I know they are going to be perfect! I have a same feeling with these lip products that I had with Bubblegum lipstick - I wanted a back up before even trying it. But since practically everything is sold out here I have to make it.

I'm still aching for the green part of the MES, but I have to stay strong with it, it would be silly for me to buy the whole blue side with it knowing I would use only the green.

Mac will make me a green single eventually. Mac will make me a green single eventually. Mac will make me a green single eventually. Mac will make me a green single eventually. I think I'm going

Dark Deed is beautiful. I passed because I always haul these type of colors. Might as well haul this one too. MUFE #48 is a sister to this one. if you don't get to haul it. A sister, not a twin.

will defnly be chking DD one out... am NOT gonna look at MUFE, not not not!!! not not not.. esp cos Sephora has a pro where u spend an amount (i think 200) and u get a 40$ voucher.. NO
smiles.gif
i will then be sucked into the world of MUFE Aqua colours and lip colours and what not. nooooo

I guess it depends on your blush application style/undertones in your skin. I have to build it, but the results are fab. other MAC blushes like Burnt Pepper, Full Fuchsia, Rhubard, I just need a quick tap. This one, I can turn up or turn down as necessary. For fall, its turned up!

its defnly not crazy pigmented like NARS, but better than some other MAC blushes. and You're right, its not like one tap and bamboom cheeks. Burnt pepper?? wow sounds nice

I have the PLUS and Mia. Not sure why I have two. I have yet to find a reason to use my Mia rofl. But whenever I dont use my Clarisonic I feel like my face isnt clean.

Hmm, I know I am definitely getting BOAA blush! But I'm not sure about Briar Rose
ssad.gif
I heard it is a less shimmery finish than those from GMLOL and I love shell pearl, so will I still like briar rose?

Also I couldn't decide between my dark magic and she who dares, in the end I decided on she who dares for the (really beautiful) green side - but I never wear blue eyeshadow so that seems like a waste?

So I basically decided then undecided everything

Re: MAC - Venomous Villains discussion

I have been wearing the MES, but I tend to need to use the SB ones to up the colour on the blue/pink even though the green and purple are amazing! In fact I love wearing the purple (crease) and green (lid) together with white gold pigment as a highlight. Makes me feel really wicked witchy.

Re: MAC - Venomous Villains discussion

Yesterday I wore Oh So Fair as blush and Strange Potion lipgloss. They looked so beautiful! OSF is incredibly pigmented and is *the* perfect pink blush for my fair skin, it only took 1-2 swipes to get color. SP really brightens up the face and is like nothing else I have; I like that it is like Toxic Tale Lite version. Going to try Revenge is Sweet today, and waiting on Innocence Beware and Devilishly Stylish!

Re: MAC - Venomous Villains discussion

Ok here's my review/recap of yesterday and it may be long
tong.gif

I had a 3:30 appt and got to the counter 10 minutes early or so and the place was packed. They had 4 people working and all of them were busy. Two were doing makeup and two were waiting on customers. I had to wait 10 minutes just to tell them I was there for my appt. I couldnt get to the VV display because there were too many people so I just waited by the l/s display. Finally I got to tell the one guy I was there for the 3:30 appt and he told me I could sit in one of the chairs and wait for Nicole so I sat down beside her and watched her finish up on someone. I thought the girl was like 13 she was working on and come to find out later she had to be at least 18 for the place she said she worked at! She did a nice look on her using a whitish perm shadow (dont know what is was) on the brow then Alter her image on the outer 2/3 and Vile Violet on the corner with a nice medium wing liner. She also used a tiny tiny bit of Bite of An Apple on her and IB l/g and I think Resort Life. She looked really pretty.

So then she got to me and I told her I wanted something bold as I never do plain light colors. I also told her I wanted to try Heartless since so many here said it was pretty and I've NEVER worn a red lip!! So she set forth with some ideas and came back with products. She ended up using Sweet Joy on the brow bone and lid then De-Vil on the outer third and up on the brow with Carbon on the corner. She did a tiny wing and lined the bottom lash line with Carbon. Oh and she used Haute & Naughy mascara too. I wanted to try the Cooling powder but then forgot after I got to talking to her while she was doing the makeup. She used Bronzing powder for contour and Bite of An Apple on my apples
greengrin.gif

Then came the lippie. She used I think that erase stuff and lined with Burgandy and put the Heartless on with IB on top to tone it down and told me to look in the full mirror and eeks it looked "ok" but man was it BRIGHT! I wasnt really sure I liked it.....looked too orange for my skin and somewhat "off". I asked her what her honest opinion was and she said she thought it looked nice but wasnt sure I really liked it. Two ladies standing near us watching another m/a said it looked really nice on me but still I wasnt sure so Nicole said she'd try another red since I really wanted a red l/s to take home. She said she'd try a more blue based red which I thought wouldnt look right given I cant pull off cool colors well. She used the new Pro Longwear color "Prolong" and when I looked in the mirror I really liked it! IT was so much nicer on me then Heartless. I liked how the liner is slightly darker....she used Burgandy again as I've seen some of you gals do that too
greengrin.gif
.

I really liked how Bite of An Apple looked but couldnt afford it so hopefully I can get it later or something similar. So what I came home with was just the She Who Dares MES from the collection and bought the Burgandy Liner, Haute & Naughty mascara and Prolong l/s. I spent more then I planned but they were things I have nothing like and I was just about out of mascara as I just had a sample of Zoom and it was about time to toss it.

I finally got to see the other items from the collection when I was waiting to pay and I looked at TT and just as I thought it looked ghastly on me. Just reminded me of some cheap l/s from the 70's! Not the color for me. Strange Potion looked similar to it but not as bright. The GPS was gone and so was Violetta and a couple other things Nicole named as sold out. There wasnt even a sample of Violetta or the GPS. I did like De-Vil but its so close to Coppering and Brash from the Spiced Choco both of which I have so no need to buy it. I have carbon as well but maybe could make something like Sweet Joy???. THey still had all the nail polishes btw. Oh and the Darkly My Dear looks alot like a blush I have of MAC's but slightly darker. I cant for the life of me remember the name and it's depotted
ssad.gif
If the name ever comes to me I'll post it up.

Oh Nicole had a nice look of purples and I really liked her lippies which was Night Moth Liner and Violetta.

One more thing to add. The last time she did my m/u she used the new Studio Sculpt foundation but used Strobe Cream underneath. I liked how it looked but after about 3 hours I was all greasy looking. This time she used both of them again and when I left I went to just wipe by the bridge of my nose near my eye and it was all greasy and felt almost wet....like lotion was just put on. Other areas of my face felt that way but not all. About 2 hours later I was totally greasy looking again and I blotted my cheeks with some t/p and alot of foundation came right off! I dont know if it's the Strobe cream that's causing that or the foundation
ssad.gif
. I dont use MAC's foundation because the color is slightly yellow on me anyway but still I'd like to know which was the issue or was it maybe both.

@ Flaminbird I'm glad you got to get something from VV! I don't like the strobe cream, it's too heavy for my skin, so maybe it was that with the SS? maybe the combo was too much at once?

I'm just now getting my goodies out of the black box and letting them mingle with the neighbors in my collections. supervised visits, however. they might incite a riot with their sauciness.

Re: MAC - Venomous Villains discussion

From the swatch Miz Pina posted Kirsch Mattene looks like a dupe for Dark Deed L/S? What do you girls think? are they really that close or it is just the lighting? Also is Innocence, Beware anything like Nude Rose??

Sorry for all the questions but this is another collection that I will have to buy unseen

Thanks Lou I'm going to post my "ancient mug now so don't you all scream in fright!! Here's what I looked like shiny face and all.. I almost think now she may have used Vangalorious along with De-Vil on my eyes but I don't recall seeing it sitting on the table beside me. Oh yeah she also used a gold highlight on the top of my cheeks and I didnt really like that as it brought out my pores

mtrimier thanks for the info. So it was the strobe cream afterall most likely. I couldnt believe how much it just "sat" on my skin afterwards! I almost bought it at the CCO but thought I'd wait to see if it would be greasy. Maybe it was both though....
