Is it possible that this will be the first product that I ever finish? Crazy. I'm holding out hope that it'll be made perm at some point.

I am loving this powder. Loving it! It has turned into my favorite thing from this collection. I'm glad I got it. I wanted it from the door, but I'm so glad it turned out to be a wonderful product. I think I'm going to go get a back up. I like the fact that Shadow Man is on the cap.

I thought about that. I certainly hope that's not the case. I never leave the cap off long at all b/c I remember what you said. I have been using it every day I've left the house since I bought it at the unveiling.

The glow it gives. At first I put it on in the bathroom mirror and I was kinda disappointed. I was considering taking it back. Then, I got to work, walked by a mirror and HELLO! It was gorgeous. A subtle glow, nothing obnoxious. Plus, the cooling effect. There is nothing like it when it hits your face. I just want to apply it all day long. It's delicious.

Tried IB for the first time today and I'm glad I have a b/u! I have pigmented lips too but this lipstick nudes it out perfectly and it's slightly more pink than I thought it would be looking at the tube. This is what I wanted Nude Rose to be for me. And no uneven wear either, easy to wear and it looks gorgeous! I had the chance to get Hue from CCO last week but I didn't because it was so sheer, I think IB is different enough from Hue.

I feel like I need as many tubes as I can get my hands on but no I'm not getting 15!

I agree, OSF is more pigmented than I thought and I feel it's more unique than BR as well.

Jazzed is peachy and can look a little orangey on me if I don't put lip balm underneath and there's nothing nude about it whereas IB is like a perfect mix of pink & nude!

So I ended up getting:

IB
Heartless
BOAA
OSF
SWD
MDM

I'm very happy to report my SWD has almost a perfect 50% split of both colours I'm not kidding!

I love the cooling feel of it (will be perfect for summer), I love that it never looks like it's there (not cakey or powdery looking) and I love that it's not noticeably shimmery. It's sort of like Perfect Topping - it just gives that little something without looking like there's any product there.

187 all over my face, works like a charm. Then I use my finger to dab it over just my cheekbone with a bit more intensity.

Re: MAC - Venomous Villains discussion

I am loving this release. I bought more from this release as a whole than any other collections this year. I have bought from other collections but a little here and there. My haul for Villans included:

Heartless l/s
Violetta l/s
Truth and Light Powder
She Who Dares MES
Hot House l/g
Wicked Ways l/g
Bad Fairy n/p
Darkly My Dear Blush

I agree with every single person who says Darkly my Dear is a sleeper hit. It is an awesome contour color and does not look on my skin like it does in the pan. I missed emote and taupe and there was no way I was missing this. The only thing I am unsure about is Bad Fairy and the reason is I bite my nails alot and this was expensive. Maybe it would make me stop.

Thanks to everyone for their opinions on this release. It really did help me narrow down what I wanted.

I've been using my 187 for the MCP and have to agree with all the love it's getting. I got Truth and Light, but I am super tempted to try to get Cajun too. I think it could work as a highlight when I wear bronzer?

Or I could just slather it on my body for fun.

As some others have mentioned, they are TOTALLY different. Not even close. IB is a nude, Jazzed is a peach color (think Ever Hip l/s from the LOL collection). I wouldn't call it a peach-coral color though, because I see no coral in mine.

I love OSF so much, I contemplated getting a backup the moment I saw how good it looked on my cheeks. But no, not at this outrageous price I will not back it up. I love the texture of these BPs so much that I've started thinking about getting Briar Rose too.

And lucky you, getting such a perfect SWD.

For someone who was not at all interested in anything other than the nail polishes (even though I already have all of the Orly Cosmic FX), I somehow ended up with the 2 MES, French Quarter GPS, Vainglorious, IB l/s & Dark Deed l/s, too.

My fave is Dark Deed. I am such a sucker for a vampy lip! It's very similar to Kirsch. Kirsch has just a little bit more plum tone to it.

not sure if you can see the difference in this pic:

about Jazzed.

I haven't tried OSF but I'm excited to hear that it's working out really well for you!

Btw, I forgot to mention how Dark Deed looks so great on you! Looking much more wearable than I thought! I think Heartless would look great on you as well seeing you pull off vibrant colours really well!

Yes, I'm lucky for randomly getting the SWD I did without having shift through their stock!

i don't think it evaporates. i just think seeing as its mostly water, more of it is picked up by the brush than normal powder.

it does expire after 2 years after being open. this is cuz of the water. it can harbor bacteria so be careful (regular powders don't harbor bacteria).

and the bit about not opening to test cuz it'd evaporate, puleeze!

Re: MAC - Venomous Villains discussion

Can I just vent to you all? My problem is that I can't find the perfect nude lip! I tried IB and it looked horrid on me. I have very pigmented lips with nc40 skin and nothing works on me. I know it's OT at this point but can someone please rec a nude ls for me to check out? TIA.

To stay on topic, I wore Heartless today. Just dabbed it on enough to get that lovely stain. Didn't dry out my lips at all which was amazing. Love Heartless <3
