I know this isn't technically the right thread but a quick question to you ladies with the Clarisonic.... Would it be too much for someone that doesn't have problem skin and not prone to breakouts?

The lipsticks were $42, lipgelee $40, blush $50, beauty powder $56, mes $48, mclp $66 and not sure about the lipglasses or eyeshadows because I wasn't interested in any!

They are kinda similar, but Feeling is brighter and has more pink-plum to it while DMD is more brown-plum.

I don't think they are very similar. Raizin is much darker and in the pan it also looks more brownish than DMD. I remember being so intimidated just by looking at Raizin that I didn't even dare to swatch it.

I bought my Villains stuff at a launch party and it was quite busy. I was surprised that people were showing up with shopping lists of products so that's how I found out about this site - so useful!

Anyway, I've passed by my MAC counter a couple of times since the collection launched and it hasn't been busy at all. I think only the polishes are sold out.

I really like my Strange Potion gloss. It looks good on it's own but it's even better over a lipstick. I've tried it with light and dark shades - pinks, reds, nudes, corals...very versatile! Having a more opaque base brings out the pearl in the gloss more and makes for a complex, multidimensional without being too wild for me.

For those in the UK, items are coming up now - you do have to search for them though, and so far it's only Cruella's products.

oh, by the way, i know you were wondering about events? it's not strictly the same thing, but MAC did a bloggers only VV event (much like yours, with the chance to purchase products in advance etc) in london a few days ago - it's popping up all over lots of beauty blogs now

i decided i didn't want to purchase the lipsticks without seeing them on me in person (especially as i can't decide now if i want dark deed or if i'd prefer kittenish), so i'll check those out at the counter. i'm happier doing it this way because i figure if i cba to go to the counter (it's like an hour each way) then it's just not meant to be

but my lipstick wishlist so far is dark deed, heartless, innocence, beware! and possibly toxic tale

it's grown so much i need to try them out in person!

My box with BoA and Truth&Light arrived today, here are my first impressions.
First thing I thought when I saw BoA was Holy...now that is an intense colour!

Swatched a little bit with my finger on my hand and I thought, no way this is never going to work on me (NW 15). I applied it with the regular blush brush (116 ?) , but just a tiny bit and very carefull and dabbed it on my cheeks and it looks much better than I thought it would. I think someone said it before, it gives you this look like you just came in the room when it was super cold outside and you have this flushed cheeks. It's really nice, I think it's a great colour for fall/winter. What I don't like about that blush is the smell, it smells really intense, like burnt plastic or something like that.

The Cooling Powder has a fine multi-coloured shimmer, and it does feel wet and cold when applied. This feels so weird! But it seems like you need a certain amount of product to feel that effect. It doesn't give me any colour, just subtle shimmer. It gives me the effect that I was looking for in By Candlelight MSF, which is way to glittery for my taste and makes my pores look huge.
The packaging in generell looks cheaper IRL than I expected from seeing pictures. I definitely would prefer the products having just regular MAC packaging. I also noticed that the MCLP smells funny too. But I think it's the print on the lid that smells very plastic-y.
Now I'm waiting for Toxic Tale and all three n/p to arrive.
