MAC Warm & Cozy Collection

Girls, I am a bit stupid. I have ordered boots in a US online shop - they are sold out here in my size. The shipping is a lot, but even with the shipping they are much cheaper than here.
It should be a test if I can order in a US online shop - if it arrives and all these things.

Why haven't I ordered Warm & Cozy with the boots?? It would have been one order!

Now I have to wait until January 2nd here.

If you have white and black chromalines you can make a great grey base, and make it as dark or light as you want. Mix in a little Silver, Platinum or Silver Fog pigment and you have yourself a silver base. Otherwise, if you can get your hands on it, MAC's Pixel Paint is the perfect silver base.

I played with the W&C collection while in the house today so, here's what I think:

I LOVE Spiced Tea! Pictures don't do it justice. It's just sexy and the name fits it perfectly. I may need to buy another to be safe. I'm surprised this applied so well since I had a rough time with Big Bow from Hello Kitty (that broke my heart so much I didn't even bother to return it. I kept trying to make it work.)

3N is pretty nice. I can use it when my eye makeup is wild. I'm not head over heels for it, but it's a nice addition to my collection.

Light that Fire! Holy crap, this stuff is awesome! I might get a backup of this, too. Again, Mac hit the nail on the head with the name. It's a coppery, orange, coral type color and it's unlike anything else I have.

I wore Relaxed shadestick today while lounging around. It's a pretty color, for sure and subtle. I know that I need to wear a base with it now because it creased after about 2-3 hours.

I've been using Close for Comfort lip conditioner yesterday and today and I like it. I don't know what it'll do for me in the long run, but it brightens my lips a bit and feels good on. Win.

The TLCs look pretty, but I hate that I have to use a lip brush with these (I'm definitely not sticking my finger in there). What a pity.

Not sure if I wanna give shadesticks another chance, but Cuddle and Nurture look like nice neutral colors that will go well with most e/s shades.

i'm not bothered about sticking my finger in my tlc. it's not ideal but i always use hand sanitiser before i stick my finger in. otherwise i'd never use the thing because i don't have a portable lip brush!

How're you guys liking the Care Blends Oils? Let me share a story.

I got my gratis and included was the grapefruit Care Blends Oil. It smells pretty nice! I'm normally oily, but I've been absurdly dry this season so I thought what the hey I'll try it. I added a drop into my mix of Studio Sculpt and Dior Nude and applied like normal. It had a bit more slip which was nice and I guess it had a tad more luminosity to it. It felt very strange though, I do NOT like the feel of oil so it felt strange. It wore well enough, but nothing too special.

At the end of the night I took it all off and my skin was a MESS. SUPER big breakouts all over my cheeks and chin, with little tiny bumps all over that I haven't had for years. The next morning my skin was even worse. This was a week ago and my skin is having alot of trouble recovering, the big spots are gone but all along my cheeks and chin I have these tiny bumps and it's so scary. It's disgusting.

If your skin is sensitive at all I'd steer clear. It's not worth it to try it, I'm so upset.

I don't want that to happen to anyone else, and my skin isn't all that sensitive to begin with!

That is all that I want and I'm not sure if I want to get a shadestick since I barely use Butternutty s/s from Sugar Sweet.

So sorry to hear this happened to you Bunny. As someone with rosacea and uber-sensitive skin that reacts to practically everything I have been there many times and know how un-fun it is! Honestly I don't know what some of these companies are thinking about - other than sounding cool - when they use some of these essential oils and more esoteric botanicals. My favorites are the products that contain all that stuff that are specifically intended for "sensitive skin"! Um...how about good old color-free, fragrance-free, boring, simple? That's getting harder and harder to find. Anyway, I hope your skin returns to normal soon.

Finally getting to post this. The site is reallllly slow. And, my Christmas company is gone.

So, MAC screwed up my order, got it later, then they reshipped, then they forgot an item & then the one item I LOVED - is now sold out before I could get another. That item is Warm & Cozy Shadestick

I liked By Candlelight - not near as shimmery/glittery as I thought it would be. It is such a soft highlight over anything high on the cheekbones or eye lids. By itself its a very faint champagne pinkish nude.

LOVED Warmy & Cozy Shadestick! - I used it just underneath my brown liner on my lower lash line - really made my eyes pop.

Wasn't sure I liked Nurture Shadestick at first, but then I used it on my lid without any primer, used my finger to blend it & then I really liked it. It also looked good with Modelette over it - very natural looking.

Also wasn't sure that I liked Warm Me Up ls at first either as it was kinda orangish on me. So, I used a pink neutral liner & patted WMU over it with my finger & then applied Feelin Good lc over it.

Loved Feelin Good lc

Still waiting on Relaxed Shadestick since MAC forgot to include it with my order.

Chamomile is very soft & pretty. Although I have lots of highlight colors, this one seemed perfect for me. Great for the inner & outer corners of the eyes, brow bone, above brow. Its even perfect for any dark shadowing without looking cakey, or powdery, or obvious

I just put my lips up to the pot and that works just fine. That is until the pot starts to run low! LOL I'll cross that bridge when I get to it, though.

Hey darlin! MAC customer service said the site probably will restock since it sold out so fast. But who knows for sure. My closer Nordies usually would send me an item for free before, but she said now that Nordies won't let them do that anymore. I'll just keep checking the site.

well i will keep my fingers crossed and hope that they get it back in

and i hadn't thought of putting my lips to the jar either... knowing my luck i'd end up getting my teeth in it though! i'm so freaking clumbsy!
