MAC Warm & Cozy Collection

I finLLY am done with my exams! (had one on the 1st of Jan

(().. and as a treat, went to the MAC store.. i got only By Candlelight MSF and Modelette from this collection. By Candlelight is SUCH a pretty highlight

was afraid it wud look chalky on my NC 44 skin.. but its pretty!!! it looks great over rose/brown blushes like Lovejoy/Notable/Xrocks/Sweet as Cocoa/Eversun etc on me.. I also got Modelette cos its makes a nice lid colour on me cos I have deep set eyes and pigmented lids, so it kinda wakes them up.. I may be going back for siss ... Spiced tea was too brown on me and warm me up was nuthing too special, like a lighter twig on me.Light ht fire looked too orange and I didint bother trying feeling dreamy and 2N... the shadesticks looked a bit like the notoriety quad from MAkeupart cosmetics to me.

Let the lemming of By Candlelight MSF begin!!!!! GET IT NOW!!!! Today I used it as a highligter with Brunette MSF and Eversun and I loved the results!!

i used by candlelight with fix+ as i said i would today. to eb honest it doesn't really darken the colour as much as i thought it would. so will stick to using it dry

tommorow i shall use it over a pink blush... dollymix me thinks!

I was looking at just a few things of the collection: Modelette was a weird orangish colour on me, not good. And I love the look of Mulled Cider in the pan, but on me it was just brown. I also swatches MC w/ Haux and on me they are different enough. Haux is like a much redder version of MC. Haux I would not get, MC yes. Chamomille was not there.
Looking at the shadesticks I was disappointed: Nurture was just pink and Cuddle was a lot of gold on me, not a whitish colour as I expected.
And I got to try the Mineralized Lotion, which feels nice. But LE skincare? Not so sure....
The oils were not there, of course, because I really wanted to try those. And for all that are interested in the oils, Clarins has nice face oils as well. And they are not LE.

ha! i knew more people would cave and buy by candlelight! it really is a nice color. not my favourite though..

So true! I don't understand that! The Counter @Munich Airport had Warm & Cozy but was not officially selling it. I got By Candlelight MSF, but just because the MA was very nice

Let me tell you all, you have to check it out! I really love it. It's nothing like the other MSF that I have... But I don't have that many: Blonde, Brunette, Refined, Petticoat and now By Candlelight

ive already picked up what i wanted from this. the shadesticks were the stand out for me, i got all of them.

im thinking about by candle light.... but ive already got perfect topping, soft and gentle and shimpagne! do i really need this? i cant decide. (im really fair to. nc10-15).

Warm & Cozy arrived to Mexico at last. I stuck to my original list which was surprising.
I got By Candlelight MSF (no surprise there since it's just awesome and you ladies talking so much about it that I just had to have it), 2N and Relaxed were the other items I got.
I may go back and get Feeling Dreamy lip glass since it's such a pretty shade and also Cuddle and Nurture are calling my name but I'm trying to resist them since I don't use the other 2 shadesticks I own that often.
What do you guys think? Should I get them or not?

The Mineralize Lotion and the Essential Oils are part of the regular line so you can get them anytime. I'm not sure if I want any of the shadesticks now since I only want three more things from this collection.

and 2 eyeshadows..not emabar or chamomile lol..

I still didn't get my package so i can't share my opinions

Hopefully i'll get it on Monday. They've been trying to deliver it twice already but no one was at reception to sign for it

Hopefully it's third time lucky! I really want my stuff.

Not sure about Soft & Gentle, but By Candlelight is definitely not similar to Perfect Topping and Shimpagne.

But you know what? At least you know when to go to the store and check - MUAs in the Czech Republic never seem to know ANYTHING, not even which collection is next or when - so when I went to MAC this Tuesday to buy a new pack of Wipes I was shocked that they had W&C and LL out

And when I asked them for how long, they said 5 days! That means it went on sale on the 1st of January! WTF?!

And some of the items were already sold out, including Cuddle s/s which was my greatest lemming

Sigh, so disappointed...

So, do not be sad, Susanne! I think you are actually better off than me - you will go there with knowing you can get what you want and prepared

I love Comfort and have wore it as a highlight everyday since I got it. I am obsessed with it and the 165 brush.

Aww, I wish you were right, GlamQueen, but the MA told me that I should hurry because the Mineralize Lotion is LE. Maybe it is not LE depending on the counter type?!

Are you using the shadesticks? It seems people either love or hate them.
What else are you getting?

I ended up buying also the Mineralize lotion from this collection.

So to wrap it up, from this collection I have
Mineralize Lotion which works very well as a face and body moisturizer, but is not enough for my horribly dried out hands.
Care Blends Essential Oil Grapefruit and Chamomile I use two or three drops on my face. Absorbs instantly and makes my skin very smooth. Next I'm going to try to blend this with my foundation (thanks to who ever gave that tip in this thread)
By Candlelight MSF Loving this everyday more an more. Works on me as really pretty peachy-pink highlight. Also works nicely over blushes.
