I actually don't think it's MAC that creates all the hype for these limited collections. But bloggers, you tubers, specktrettes, instargrammers etc. MAC does VERY little to advertise/"hype up" these collections (if I'm not mistaken-bloggers didn't even get a sample of this). Just some food for thought.

They didn't get samples BUT they get the press releases from MAC with MAC knowing full well that they will get free advertising through bloggers. MAC does give some bloggers samples of LE products and customers know the drill with most LE releases...if it's a highly coveted color (or somewhat unique) then you better stalk the website or you will miss out quickly. So I think MAC has done their part long before now to create frenzy for their releases...and automatic hype based on what has happened on every other release. Just my opinion though

Information is discreetly disseminated. There's been buzz about this for months. I do agree in part that the hype machine is fueled by the sources to which you referred. Whatever the case, I choose to be a part of all this and I love it!

Lmao. You guys are crazy! Hahahha I can't cancel now but its ok. I don't have to obsess over making sure I'm on it so I can get my own order in next time. I guess I paid extra to kill that anxiety if nothing else. I really wanted this color.

I always use standard shipping and it usually ships next day after I place my order, but this was a big release. If you look at your confirmation email though, it says to allow 3-5 business days before shipping.

Yeah, this ones gonna take a bit longer to process than normal.

My orders never take longer than 2 days to arrive & I always do standard shipping. Benefit of living in the Midwest, I guess. I am not used to waiting so long for an order to go from pending to processed. I'm chilling though since this was so intense of a launch. I'm grateful to have gotten through the virtual waiting room.

its up in Australia, it went up at exactly 12. i've been waiting 13 minutes so far.. people here aren't very mac crazy, nothing from the extra dimension collection has sold out and its been up for a week and a bit so i'm hoping this doesn't sell out fast

I was referring to those on the thread who are allowed to use a Smartphone during lunch or a break, and there seem to be more than a few. As for "You working gals" I am not one of them, my time is my own. Just being empathic for others here. All do respect to whatever work-related rules that may apply---I trust those individuals are well aware of them, and comply in kind.

I didn't mean offense and apologize if it was taken. I honestly would think having a 3 hour window to order {today} is better than a half hour window {by request or MM for example} and was curious as to why others felt differently.
