I am obsessed with NYX at the moment, i got the single eyshadow in Dune and its gorgeous and im impressed at the pigmentation its like a silvery satin taupe. Also got the for your eyes only green eyes palette which is also amazing seriously just as pigmented as MAC. Champagne and caviar palette is lovely too.

Also got the mega lip gloss in Beige which is a lovely pigmented pink almost like mac angel in a gloss. The black case lipstick in spoiled is like a creamier pink noveau and i love it, its so long lasting.

Im hooked on this brand and have ordered 6 glosses off ebay and the concealer in a jar. Also ordered indian pink lipstick as it looks gorgeous.

I got the jumbo pencil in dark brown and its good but smudged a bit under my lashes but i'll try setting it with shadow next time.
Overall though amazing quality for the price.

ooooo dolly pink lip pencil and rose lip pencil are like HG material for me now!!!

pinky or dolly pink are great, pinky is more fuchia and matches great and dolly pink is like pink noveau in liner form but goes great under girl about town!!!
Pinky is more of a match though.

I've used NYX round lipsticks, diamond sparkle lipsticks, single eye shadows, pearl-mania and glitter-mania powders, megashine glosses and blushes and I must say, I'm so in

with all of em!

I get them from cherry culture all the time and when they have their 20% off sale, it's even better ...

Can you describe the colour of Rose lip pencil for me please?
winks.gif

Its a mid pink but more warmer in colour but no brown tones , its like chatterbox lipstick by mac almost.

The green eyeshadows in the pallette are so gorgeous there is an olive green and teal that i use all the time, it also has a dupe for mac cranberry which is just as good.

Re: NYX lipliners - what's the difference?

the slim pencils have alot more color choices. the long one's are more product for ur $$$. i honestly think they last equally, they are both really nice quality liners.

i love: natural, dolly pink, nectar, beige, and tangerine for nudes, pinks, and peaches

They also sell the color "Rust" which is the dupe for MAC cranberry. If you search I had a swatch comparison of the two of them somewhere in the dupe thread awhile back

Now you've got me wanting to try those new palettes! But after my disaster with the NYX trios I am a little scared HAHA!

Re: NYX lipliners - what's the difference?

I ended up getting:

Candlelight
Pale Shrimp
Nepal
Nectar

And Amuse lipliners in Disco Pink and Sexy Pink.

It's really hard to find decent swatches of these pencils, so I went by what I could google myself to. Today, after I've placed my order, of course there's suddenly a discussion about lipliners in the NYX thread..

Re: Favorite NYX Lippies?

Well, I got my package! Can't wait to wear babies these out!

I like all of the ones I got except for Fig. It's a weird looking pink on me
I should of figured cause I dislike most dark pinkies on me.

But I really love Harmonica, beautiful frosty light pink on me... I'm not digging the flowery smell to it though, but not enough were I wouldn't wear it. I think I'll get more of frosty ones now, cause I don't like Mac's frost lipsticks on me(Magnifies every crease in my lips!). Glad I found a lipstick that doesn't do that!

Circe, Orange Soda, and Honey are beautiful nudes! Love them!

Thalia is nice, looks kinda like my natural lip color. I'm not sure how to describe it, but it's nice

Any other NYX frosty lipstick recommendations? Most have MORE!

Fuschia. I think it is the slim lip pencil ones. Purple Rain is great for Up the Amp, it is a dupe to Magenta l/l from mac. Pinky is hot pink but more pink like Saint Germain and Chatterbox pink, like someone said.

Plum, Cola and Never are plummy mauvey colors. I use them a lot.
The slim line ones are comparable to MAC in my opinion. I have a lot of them. Burgundy l/s is similiar to Currant/Vino.

The palettes are good. A little shimmery and use a sticky base like paint pots and you are good to go.

There is not a lot. They all kinda seem like the same color but variations of lightness or darkness, if that makes sense.

Never might be a considered a nude plum brown, cola is a light plum and plum is just plum. All three are good for $2, if in US, it won't hurt to have them all.

BTW here is the NYX Jumbo Pencil blog swatches that got me hooked and I ended up ordering 22 Jumbo pencils LOL! The swatches are really good since on the NYX site you can't tell what they look like on skin:

Bless your heart for that! LOL I don't have any, but I will order some when CC has another 20% off sale.

I want to try the lip palette also in red, that way I can experiment and try to find what shade is best for me.

Has anyone tried the loose pearl eye shadows? What do you think of them? How do they compare to MAC pigments? I saw the set of 24 on eBay for cheap (haven't checked anywhere else) adn was thinking of trying them.

By the way, I just came from Fragrance Outlet and they have a HUGE selection of NYX! It's that perfume store in the outlet malls but for some reason they have a lot of NYX... but their prices aren't good. I was disappointed about that since it's an outlet, I was thinking it would at least be cheaper than Ulta. But they have lots of colors so if you need just one or two things and don't want to pay shipping, it's good to know

I might get this. What put me off about the Z palette was that it is made out of paper and the price. This one is plastic, and a little more reasonable .

agreed on the initial cost, but after shipping its $2 more haha.. i'm still on the fence about it but the white is pretty.

thanks for the heads up!
