if its too much of a problem to find a sharpener for the nyx pencils you can always depot them into jars for easier use

This topic made me curious if my Sephora sharpener with the one normal sized and one big hole would work for the NYX Jumbos. It was pretty tight, but it seems I should be able to make it work, with a little bit of force.
That depotting (de-penning?
) tutorial is interesting. I had no idea it was that easy.

I can't tell you about the lipglosses, since I haven't tried them. But their lip liners are great! I would say comparable to MAC's quality and great price! I was suprised at how smooth they went on (the eye liners do NOT go on easily) and lasted just as long as MAC's.

Sad news for non-US customers of mscuppycakes.com...the shipping rules have changed and the super cheap first class post is no longer available, only priority and the cost is $29.95 for orders of $0-$20 and $39.95 for orders of $21-$49. So I would say it is prohibitively expensive and I won't be buying from them anymore.
I could kick myself over and over for not ordering a week ago when the old shipping rules applied...I was drawing up a mental list of things I wanted and was just waiting for a spare hour to order. I will never learn the lesson...if you genuinely want stuff don't dither and contemplate, it will go and you will be filled with regret!
So sad, where will I get my cheapo NYX fix now?

^ there is a lot of variety with the lip pencils so there may be a better match than what I'm suggesting but from what I have, I would say that 'Natural' (Slim Lip Pencil) is a good match for Subculture...Dervish I'm not too sure of a dupe for that, it is probably one of MACs more unique shades. The closest I can suggest is 'Mauve', but this lacks the slight iridescence that Dervish has. Can anyone else suggest better dupes?
Will check out cherry culture but I can't buy more than $25 at a time since you get taxed heavily in the UK for orders over about $25 (well GBP £18 to be precise)...so annoying.

You can still purchase from Cherryculture.com. I bought from them, they marked the box as a gift without me asking, and it made it through customs with no problems. It only took a few days for delivery (to Ireland) and I really couldn't recommend them any more

I just did some comparisons of MAC Subculture (I don't have Devirsh, sorry) with my NYX pencils and my camera battery died so I will post the pics later...
As for dupes, NYX Mauve lip liner pencil is almost identical to MAC Subculture. I actually like the NYX better because it's smoother and creamier. I had a bunch of swatches on my hand and when I washed them off, the NYX stayed on longer than the MAC!
NYX Natural lip pencil is very close to MAC Spice. I will post the swatches later when my battery is charged.

^ EDIT: The person I bought all my NYX from on ebay (Bubbles_n_Mocci) sucks! She sent my package to the wrong address and it was returned to her. Then she lied and said she sent it to me again at the correct address. It has been over 4 months and still no package!!! Too late for a paypal claim so I am just out of luck. I checked out her feedback and she has 41 Negs now too! So don't buy from her!
