What is your opinion on them? Do any pro MUA use them? How do they compare to MAC brushes?

I guess you and I are in the same boat as Quo and Annabelle are brands that are exclusive to Shoppers Drug Mart...which I am pretty sure is only really in Canada...

The majority of the brushes that I have are Quo brushes and I love them.
The only MAC brush I have is the 239 for pigments and all the other brushes are Quo.
I think that they work very well.

Hehe...I just remembered that I have a quo brush... its the retractable blush brush that my friend bought and gave me...

I like it, It's great for travelling because its retractable and has a cover, so it doesnt get all mushed around if you just throw it in your makeup bag...

I have a few Quo brushes. They were the first makeup brushes that I ever owned, which were the lip brush, the concealer brush, and the liner/brow brush. They're cheaper than MAC brushes, but there are less choices. I think that Quo brushes are fine, but you can have more precision with MAC brushes, since there are more to choose from. Instead of just one crease brush from Quo, there are probably five different types of brushes from MAC.

AAAAAAAND.. I THINK I saw Annabelle brushes at Walmart??? Or is that another brand? I'm not sure.

I bought a Quo retractable brush a few years ago, and found that after a while, it would feel scratchy against my face. After finding this site, I decided to shell out the money and puchase MAC's 187 Stippling Brush and use that for applying powder/blush. I find that brushes made with white goat hair are so much better cause they're softer on my skin.

And just to clarify, Annabelle cosmetics is sold in drugstores (and stores like Walmart) across in Canada. It is not available anywhere outside the country.

I also have about 4 Quo brushes and I love love love them!! Quality wise, they are the same as MAC or other high end brushes. But, like someone else said, the selection is limited, hence the reason why I have a variety of brands!

Shoppers here has 20% off their QUO stuff pretty often, so I bought a powder brush last time they were cheaper. It's a good brush, it hasnt shed yet - not like the 129 brush I bought awhile ago. Yay Quo!

They are on sale for 20% off this week. I bought a bronzer brush which looks like MAC's 187, stippling brush, but a bit larger, yet not as dense. I've been using it to apply foundation and like it very much. For $16, can't beat that!

I think that considering you can get Quo brushes for around $10 each if you buy them on sale, they are an excellent value. I absolutely *love* their concealer brush used for doing pigments under my lower lashline, or to pack powder over eyeliner for a smokey eye. The only disappointing one for me was the Bronzer brush (dupe of the MAC 187 'skunk') which shed a LOT of hairs the first wash, and is just generally too large to use for highlighter or blush. Their brow/liner brush is amazing and can be used to do very fine lines and are great for tightlining. HTH!

I have a few Quo brushes that I bought when I was still living in Canada, and tbh, I think the quality reflects the price. The bristles scratch my face and the large powder brush I have sheds like crazy. They also absorb more product than they deposit to the face.

I've bought some MAC brushes now and never looked back.

If you want some better brushes than Quo, but don't want to shell out the big money for MAC, try Crown brushes which you can order online, there's a whole thread dedicated to them on this forum.

My powder brush sheds.....

However, I love my thin concealer brush that I use for liner. I use their lip brush too.

I've the big bronzer blush and the kabuki blush that both came out this spring. I agree, the price reflects the quality, and that being said, they're pretty good for the price. The MAC 187 (which I also have), is head and shoulders above the Quo brush, but I also paid 4x as much for it. I use my Quo brushes nearly every day, the bronzer for powder, and sometimes a diffused blush, and the Kabuki with my beauty powders - they work just fine.

As for shedding, the Bronzer shed a lot at first, but it seems fine now. The Kabuki drops at least one hair each time I've used it, so far. They are rougher than MAC brushes, but I can't say they "scratch" my face.

As others have said, you get what you pay for.

I have one Que eyeliner brush ( not the tiny one) it's not too bad. I'm not sure how it compare to MAC's since I have none of MAC's brushes. However, I have Lisa Watier brush set and those are sooo good. I add the occasional brush from different brand that I pick up randomly, for exaple the Cheryl Baker's eyeliner brush with any type of gel eyeliner and Elizabeth Aeden's foundation brush.

I'm pretty sure most of them are synthetics and most of MAC's are natural hairs? I bought one of their brushes and like everyone else you get what you pay for. It was a large cream shadow brush I think and I hated it so much I threw it out.
