RiRi Hearts MAC Fall Collection (October 3, 2013)

I was just informed that these exact lipstick colors are what's relaunching on Dec 12 just under different names. So no need to worry. With the restocks and relaunch everyone should be good. I was trying to help out some members unknownst to them just reading their posts but its too late now . Had I only known this morning! Anyways, bottom line there is hope so relax and don't succumb to the overpriced. Just be patient.

Happened to be near a Macy's so I stopped in to see what was left - they had everything except Diamonds, which they never received, and Who's That Chick which sold out. I picked up another TTT and Nude incase my macys.com order gets cancelled for having 2 TTT on it. Happy camper.

Do you happen to have the number? Looking to get nude and a backup of TTT!

Now I get it. Remember at the waiting room there were saying do not worry you have riri holiday collection coming. Now that is what they meant.

My Story: Went to the the Macy's in downtown Philly. It's a freestanding Macy's so we were all waiting outside for the store to open at 9. As soon as the guards open the door we're powerwalking to the MAC counter lol. The Riri stand is damn near empty. All that's left is Riri Woo and Who's That Chick and the blush (And the lashes and crap that no one wanted.) They tell us that their shipment was lost and it should have been there 2 weeks ago. Really?! I waited around for an hour hoping she would let the three of us who wanted Nude (And she claimed they were only supposed to get 3 anyway) go ahead and buy them. No such luck. The Cosmetics manager came over and tried to help but she told him to let her do her job. What? I left extremely pissed. Mind you, I called two days ago and of course they never mentioned that their shipment wasn't even there. She said it was delivered to another store and they kept it instead of returning it. Girl, I guess. I'm over this collection. And after seeing the packaging in person I wasn't even feeling it like that. I did want Nude, though, cuz it seemed so cute for fall, but I'll live. I have Nars to buy soon anyway. Also, Meltdown lipstick is an exact dupe for WTC. Has anyone mentioned this? On the lips/hand they look exactly the same.

Out of curiosity went onto Belk and saw a RiRi Quad Shadow pop up then disappear hmmm...

Is her Cocoa Shadow palette worth it? I've been contemplating if to snatch it up or not? Cause I am an avid Urban Decay Eyeshadow user & own the Naked palettes and wonder if there is a difference

Ii was listed that 3 of the colors are permanent and only one shade was new. If you want it for the packaging then....

I really think Macy's will get Diamond. It seems like something went wonky and a lot (most??) of the Macy's stores did not receive it.. YET.. The question is -- if they do get it later... When will it be?

I could be wrong about this..and it is all speculation on my part though.

I was really disappointed with my experience today at the MAC counter. I went to the launch at the Pro store last week, and the difference was like night and day. At the Pro store the MAs came out to give us information and they gave us a card to list what we wanted, and only 5 people were let in the store at a time. It was very organized. Today was a free for all. The MAs never came out, they just gawked at us through the door. They didn't open the entrance at 10 am, so people rushed to the department store entrance. People from the end of the line were ahead of some of the people who were waiting since 8. They gave us a printed list of product to choose from, but all the products weren't listed on it, and the store didn't get a shipment of Diamonds. Then, the MAs started taking forms from people at the end of the line instead of the front. What was the point of being on a line? Does MAC send out a memo on how these collections should be handled or is it up to each store? Between going to the Pro store, the waiting room on Monday, and this fiasco today, I did get everything I wanted except for diamonds and a couple of items for my friend and a coworker. Bottom line, I'm only going to the pro store for collections that I would wait in line for.

So I went to my nearest mall (which opens at 10), I got there at 10, walked inside, and there was a line of about 5 people at the MAC counter. When it was finally close to my turn, the lady behind the counter tells the two young girls in front of me that they were sold out of the Nude & TTT lippies - THEY WERE PISSED. lol
then this other lady comes out of nowhere and asks if everything is sold out and proceeds to argue and yell at the MAC employee and tells her shes gonna complain about this.

Wtf, people are going overboard with this. Its definitely out of control. I just got my TTT Lipliner and some lashes and left. lol

its messed up that they were yelling cause thats just crazy.. its not like they can't buy it on ebay (they will pay an arm and a leg but its there)...bbuuuttt at the same time.. how could they ship the store so little merchandise when they know the hype it had for the past 2 releases?? I remember at my mac counter there was like 4 people in front of me and 2 people left the counter then they started yelling oout they were sold out of diamonds....

yep that was the look on my face... really.. ya'll only got 2 in or maybe 3 and their gone already??? thats crazy

The colors in the quad is Retrospeck, Woodwinked, Mulch and of course the 4th color is new. One of the bloggers that I saw said she got her quad from PR and those were the colors listed on the back of the quad.

Someone else posted that their Macy's didn't get Talk That Talk and multiple posters said their Macy's didn't get Diamonds. Another person said their counter's drawer full of Talk That Talk disappeared, probably due to employee theft. With the exception of the latter, it just seems like this is MAC Corporate incompetence more so than employee lies.

The colors in the quad is Retrospeck, Woodwinked, Mulch and of course the 4th color is new. One of the bloggers that I saw said she got her quad from PR and those were the colors listed on the back of the quad.

Seven Of Nine posted a picture showing the shades in the quad are a bit different from the permanent shadows though.



I think Bloggers got PR samples with those shadow names on the back but are these the names on the backs of the quads sold to consumers?

And geez, look at the 3 Retrospecks. ALL of them are different. LOL MAC.
