My lips are naturally very pink, and when I want a nude lip I put on something called Sally Hansen Lip Grip + Plumper. You can get it at drugstores. It turns your lips a matte flesh tone and you can put your neutrals on top.

I'm a paleface so the color works for me, but it might look ashy on darker ladies.

Went today and here is my report:

The quads are gorgeous! I am loving the color combos. Do i have colors like them? Sure (in fact i have rondelle and carbon) Are they beautiful to look at? Most definitely? Do they look great on? You betcha!

Unfortunately, other than the raven kohl power the rest of this collection was meh to me. The lipglasses and lipsticks were nothing special- just your typical frosts and lustres. Brew on me looked like nothing and burnin was a garish shade of purple!

This collection hasn't really impressed me either >_< Argh!

I like the Smoke Signals pigment and the sound of the Raven Kohl Power but nothing much more.

Sigh...

I checked out this collection last night; next week during my makeover I will only be getting the Smoking Eyes Quad, Illicit l/g & maybe the Orpheus e/l.

I was not crazy about any of the lipsticks (why did Brew have to be frosty!!!!!!!!

). If you are a fan of Poetic License l/g you'll like the Illicit l/g, its practically a dead ringer.

I have tons of stuff on my list from this collection. I've only seen the quads in person so I know I will be getting them. They are GORGEOUS &have the perfect combo of colors I think. I don't care if I have a couple of the shades already (Carbon, Satin Taupe); the colors I don't have will make it worth it!! As for the rest of the stuff on my list... I'll have to see. The blush, a couple lipsticks &lipglasses appeal to me, but it doesn't sound like anything else is very special.

Forget what I said I'm getting the Quads too... >_< I just saw some swatches and I actually really like them. Gentle Fume Eyes more than Smoking Eyes because I don't like browns.

But still, PURDY *_*

K, to answer your questions from the hauls post i put up:

In regards to the quad I think anyone can pull of the colors as greys, browns, silvers and blacks will always look good no matter how dark or light you are. Will post more on these colors when i get back home!
