LOL, I loved that crazy magenta color which is why I ordered. I really wanted it to look just like that. I am more afraid it will look like some other lipsticks I already have. I'm so upset! I didn't buy my stuff last week at the Pro Store because Macy's invited me to the unveiling today (they called me about 3 weeks ago) & I had an appointment for a makeover. I just came back, with absolutely nothing! They claim they sold out of everything last night, seriously they have 3 counters and none of them had anything!
They told me they were not allowed to sell anything until today and they have no merchandise, that makes no sense to me. It's over, I'm through w/Mac @ Macy's.
Now I'm going to have to head to another store after work tonight. Sorry, I'm so upset, I have plans tonight and I am going to have to make a stop before I go out.

oh man! that's not cool...good luck hunting some stuff down. I haven't tried yet but hopefully I'll be able to nab a few things today.

Just got back from the freestanding in the Westfield Topanga Canyon Mall... I picked up the Gentle Fumes quad &when the MA went to get it out of the drawer, she pointed out that they only had a half a row of Gentle Fumes quads sent to them, but 4 rows of Smoking Eyes!
Both quads are beeeeeautiful in person. But after swatching all of the shades from both, I didn't find either to be over-the-top impressive or anything. Not to mention, they can probably be duped pretty easily with perm/LE/DC shadows. None-the-less, they are gorgeous &have the complete package for either a brown or black smokey eye. I happen to wear blacks/greys more so I went with Gentle Fumes.
I also picked up: Sparks Can Fly l/s, Soft & Slow l/g & Raven k/p from the Collection. And I should have gotten Barely Lit l/s & Orpheus k/p too so I'll def be going back for those

I love this collection & Blue Storm! I'm such a fan of dark smokey eyes... and I love having them in the quads to take with me on trips and stuff. Everything was just perfect!
I got one more collection to go... MAC for McQueen! Then I'll be done for the year!
I'd probably say that this years collections are way better than 06 and the last half of 05...

I'm waiting for Mcqueen too. I wanna see if they have brush sets for christmas this year also. I'm kinda low on brushes =(. I got the brown smokey eye quad, smoke signals pigment and lovestone from the flashtronic collection. The MA said it was her last lovestone ..and its allllll mine now! hehehe....

Try the swatch thread for Smoke Signals - there are some excellent comparison Maroon/Smoke Signal swatches there
For me I am totally excited - this collection is "me" all over and I have made my shopping list already! Fortunately for me I can wear corals - corals and me are heaven so I will be getting ablaze blush

so you're not going to get the holiday collection if MAC does come out with one this year?
