It's up on the website (not by collection). I have already made my shopping list.

I placed my order around 9:30 this morning by doing a "search" and selecting each item. They sure were slow this time to update the site with these 2 collections...but I'm glad I ordered what I wanted and got that out of the way.

I plan on going out of town Thursday to check out the lip and blush products to see how those items look on me before buying anything.

I like the on-line video of Eartha Kitt singing "Smoke gets in your eyes". She still has a sultry voice. I wish the video was clearer and not have so much filters and special effects in it.....But all in all, it's still entertaining.....

I loved the little Ertha Kitt vid.

MAC needs to slow down on these collections, my pockets are only so big.

I agree! 'Cause last year I thought MAC had lost its mind using Sandra Bernhard to tout the plushglass collection. What were they thinking?

But this year I think they've scored twice -- using Eve for C-Shock and Eartha for Smoke Signals!

Agreed! I love the face charts....If anyone have any un-published face charts for either collection, can you post them in Specktra?

My poor wallet. I so wasn't even interested in Smoke Signals...but now that I've seen some more swatches and the colors better on the site....these collections are going to hurt me. :crap: And what's even worse, is I'll have to wait til next week to get 'em.

So my Smoke Signals wishlist is pretty small...Smoking Eyes Quad and Orpheus KP.

The lippies and glosses don't look that interesting to me, plus I already have some good nude l/s like blankety, Jubilee and Honeymoon. I thought this collection and Blue Storm would murder my wallet but I think I can swing both collections for under $100!!

Oooooooh Smoke Signals!

The quads don't do anything for me, and the KPs are whatever, but can we just take a moment for Burnin'!? And Bazaarish (which I missed the first time around)!? AND EMOTE! AMAZING!

It's even BETTER in person!

And I don't know WHAT is up with the site's swatch of Burnin' . . . it looks nothing like that in real life. It's a dark wine, not that crazy magenta color it is on the website.

PS - Emote is INCREDIBLE for conturing on lighter skin. I'm an NW20, and a stroke of Emote on the hollow of my cheeks (with no foundation or anything else on) makes my cheekbones jump out like CRAZY and it looks totally natural!

I just got back from the Smoke Signals premier party! It was fun! They had lovely appetizers, cream puffs, and chocolates to eat! The collection did not overwhelm me. The quads were nice! The lipglasses reminded me of the colors from Naturally Eccentric and Untamed- Damzel/La La Libertine, Truth and Light/Poetic License, and Mad Cap. The other looked like a deeper Lovechild. Brew was very sheer and did not show up on my NW15 skin. Barely Lit was close to Chica Boom. Mellow Flame reminded me of Strawberry Blonde a bit. Ablaze blush is very similar to Slave to Love, with just a tad more red. Emote was close to Harmony. HTHS!

Yeah the video was excellent marketing. The models showed about a dozen different ways you can work the products. Not that I needed the video to sell me, I am going to get almost everything except for the lipsticks that won't work for me (Brew and the other and probably the other two pinks are almost guarenteed to be too light, which saves me money, yay). I'll probably pass on the lipglasses, they usually don't wow me, and I'm on a perm. no-buy, so I'll have to wait of Silver Fog and Dark Soul, but the rest is mine.

Does anyone think they will be released in stores a day early? That was the case with C-Shock. I'm going to call and ask.
