My issue is the same as many others. The shades & textures of Nude Dip are lovely, separately. When I try to use them together it's just bla not an $88 quad. I feel creativity flew out the door when putting those colors in the same quad.

I ordered Incandescent highlighter duo at Sephora. I guess it will be rolling out at other retailer soon if it is not already there. Also, has anyone seen Lavender Extreme lipstick swatches? Do you know if it will be released in the US? Thanks.

Oh the lavender extreme was on the Tom Ford site so I ordered it. It is sitting on the UPS truck for the holiday. I guess I'll get it Friday but get this, at the store down the street from my house. It seems they will drop it off there on Friday. They left a note that they were going to drive past the store down the street but come back on Friday to leave it there. 
I didn't even know that store accepted packages. Must be a new thing.
Anyway, I guess Sephora will get it eventually. They seem to have gotten all the other extreme products. Some they have even received first.

I forgot to mention but last week, Nordstrom allowed some members to pre-order and pick up later some stuff for the sale. I don't think anyone mentioned it. There were quite a few sets. For now I have passed on all of them. There are probably pics on the internet but the window on my computer has closed. Sorry I didn't think to post at the time. From my memory:
-2 different sets with White Suede quad in it in regular packaging - one with the dual eyeliner pen and a mascara, the other set offered I think 2 lipsticks. Perhaps miniatures. I don't remember. I don't recall prices either.
-another set had Reflects Gilt, Golden Peach duo cream eyeshadow and maybe a mini lipstick?? probably paradise or something coral everything seemed to have that color. -I was interested in this one as I've been wanting a back up of Reflects Gilt but I already had Golden peach and didn't want a mini lipstick. I decided to skip on this one. I think this one may have a deal if you didn't have all the products. Not everything in this sale was. I
-set a mini duo soleil oils in the regular and rose gold color - I've seen this set offered some place before
-set of 3 mini lipsticks - Michele Wang said she thought these might be new colors but I forgot to check. I think one was Antonia. I've been off mini lipsticks for a while so none of the shades were familia to me. I do think one of the colors was plum/purple. It seemed like there was a varied to the set.
-Soleil Blanc perfume set - 1 oz perfume with mini regular body oil and something else. I can't recall but I believe there were 3 products.
-one other perfume set - from Tom Ford's regular line, not private blend, I believe it was in the black bottle (not Ombre leather) with the travel size spray.
I think that was it. I did get a survey later and I was sure to mention that I did not like that they didn't feature new products so I was unable to buy anything. I wish I had thought to mention that I was glad that they had expanded the number of Tom Ford offerings though. But I'm finding that across the board at the Nordstrom sales. They just aren't featuring special stuff in the beauty section like they used to. More just a new configuration of products. The beauty section seems geared toward people who don't buy regularly.

Could you let me know what you think of Lavender Extreme?
My initial reaction was to buy it, but I managed to restrain myself.
I still want to buy it but I am a little more on the fence until I hear something about it.

So sorry for forgetting to come back to this thread. The lavender extreme is an extreme color. Not completely opaque but not sheer either. Kind of duo chrome I think. Purple with a blue shift. Not quite Blurple though. Not an everyday color for me but a fun summer color. I've been meaning to see if it would layer over something else but didn't get around to it. Also, I've been wondering if Mac had a color like this. Remember they came out with crazy colors a few years back. I feel like it was summer time too. But I believe those were sheer colors. Have you seen swatches on IG?
I picked up Tom Ford Metallique perfume at the boutique when I went to get another lip spark. Skipped the lip spark for now. Think I'll go back tomorrow though. SA told me another duo cheek creme stick is coming out what do you call those things? Part of the Soleil collection and I think he said Glow drops. But now I'm thinking when? Summer is here!
But then again I just heard about this summer scent I get from another brand every year and it is no where in site. I just don't see how they plan on selling for the summer. Maybe a few brands are slowing down.

Okay y'all. I see that Tom Ford came out with an Acqua (EDT) version of the Sole di Positano parfum. I know I saw discussion somewhere about the EDT versions of parfums somewhere in this thread. I could not find it using the search function (useless *eyeroll*).
Have any of you purchased the EDT version of a parfum? I know with scent, some actually use EDT and parfum (along with lotion and/or powders etc.) together to layer and lengthen wear. Your thoughts? Experience?

I can't weigh in on Tom Ford Acqua scents. I haven't tried much from that line since I'm not really much into those type of water/sea scents for the most part. But if you are asking generally, I will say that in other lines you have to be careful since lines are now doing either complimentary or completely different scents using the same name with in edt or edp. Angel EDT just arrived in the mail today (I haven't opened it yet but I do have a sample). The notes are completely different from Angel EDP. Angel Muse EDP and EDT are slightly different. I think there is only one note that is different. One has hazelnut in it, I think the EDT, and the other Chestnut maybe??? But I like the EDT better. I hadn't noticed any problems with longevity but I didn't necessarily test them against each other.
I always thought get edp because edt doesn't last but I'm finding now that that isn't always the case but if there is a choice I will go with edp assuming I cannot test it beforehand and the scent is exactly the same.
