"Reunited" by (I think) Peaches and Herbs. i I fell pretty hard for a guy who went back to his ex. Yeah, I don't want to know that it feels so goooooooddddddd.

I seriously need like about an hour of "Let's Groove" by Earth, Wind, and Fire if I have to hear that song.

I mustn't forget "The Christmas Shoes". I was DRIVING the first time I heard that. God forbid I am driving now when it comes on. Turn the radio off.

"If you're not the one" by Daniel Beningfield. Same guy as above. Incredibly hard to get over.

If you’re reading this
And My mama's sitting there
Looks like I only got a one-way ticket over here
I sure wish I could give you one more kiss
And war was just a game we played when we were kids
Well I’m laying down my gun
I’m hanging up my boots
I’m up here with God
And we’re BOTH watching over you

So lay me down
In that open field out on the edge of town
And know my soul
Is where my momma always prayed that it would go
And if you’re reading this
I’m already home

If you’re reading this
Half way around the world
I won’t be there to see the birth of our little girl
I hope she looks like you
I hope she fights like me
Stands up for the innocent and the weak
I’m laying down my gun
I’m hanging up my boots
Tell dad I don’t regret that I followed in his shoes

So lay me down
In that open field out on the edge of town
And know my soul
Is where my momma always prayed that it would go
And if you’re reading this
I’m already home

If you’re reading this
There’s gonna come a day
When you move on and find someone else
And that’s okay
Just remember this
I’m in a better place
Where soldiers live in peace
And angels sing Amazing Grace

So lay me down
In that open field out on the edge of town
And know my soul
Is where my momma always prayed that it would go
And if you’re reading this
If you’re reading this
I’m already home

I heard "Exit Music (for a Film)" by Radiohead for the first time in ages (possibly ever) today and it really started stirring up some heavy ish. No tears, just thoughts, it's quite a song though.

"Everlong [acoustic version]"- Foo Fighters (actually, just Dave Grohl.) It sums up some of my happiest moments with people I don't see anymore. This version is so haunting.

I totally agree, all of their acoustics are my favorite!

Evanescence Breathe No More- Amy's voice is so beautiful and the lyrics really get to me.

Nirvana The Man Who Sold the World- Kurt put so much emotion in his stuff I admire that.

Pantera Cemetary Gates and Buckethead Whitewash
Those songs are so beautiful and don't even need lyrics to capture the attitude or depth that they have. The guitars just kill it! My favorite stuff.

on the lighter side,
Moonlight Sonata always makes me feel depressed..not the last half though lol

almost forgot,
Eric Clapton-Tears in Heaven

Right after our Spring Break in 8th grade a close friend of mine committed suicide..For his memorial there was a slideshow of all his baby pics to recent ones and this song was played. I cried so damn hard for a long time.

RIP Petey.

The one that comes to mind at the moment is 'Wild World' -Cat Stevens
because i associate it with my Mum, she loved Cat Stevens and that's the first song by him that i knew.
I once heard a busker playing it in York town centre (UK) and cried my eyes out while trying to eat my lunch.

I'd been living with my mom the past year or so and had just had a little boy a month before when she suddenly died of a massive and unexpected stroke this Summer. And indeed, all her flowers died (she loved gardening) as I couldn't find the time between taking care of the house and my son to tend the garden

I realize that Prince wrote the lyrics "all the flowers that you planted, sugar", but Sinead always sang "mama", and hers is the only one that I hear, so... *sniff*

This one too... similar reasons..
One of Mum's cacti died once it was in my care, one of the flowering winter ones. And i don't have the same energy for the gardening that my Mum had.
It's especially poignant when you see the video, Sinead is really crying.

Ecstasy makes me cry too. That's such a damn good song. Reminds me of some of the happiest times of my life with my boyfriend. When we have troubles, I just go back to that...

My others would have to be:
Staind-Epiphany-this song just gets to me
Staind- It's Been Awhile-This song was there for really hard times in my life! It just makes me think of personal struggles within and with other people

Another would be
Sarah McLachlan-Can't let you go or something like that

All Sarah McLachlan makes me feel emotional. I like Staind alot too.

-I think it's really crazy that you live in ABQ. I just moved up to Denver this summer from Albuquerque. My ex moved up here with me. To make a long story short things didn't work out and he moved back.

I don't think that I've ever seen anyone else from ABQ on Specktra. I didn't have any friends that were into makeup when I lived there. I would have loved to have a friend to talk about MAC and makeup with.

Wow! What a small world! I have lived here all my life. I wouldn't trade it for anything BUT Denver. It is so beautiful and happening there. Sometimes I feel like Albuquerque is behind the times. I'm pretty new to Specktra, but it's wonderful to actually know someone knows about the little hole I am always taking about on here! A lot of my friends here aren't into makeup much. They all wear it but they don't understand how fantastic MAC is. TBH, I don't think many females here ever stopped to think how fantastic MAC is. I didn't either really until recently, I was a drug store, Avon, and Mary Kay lady. I've always been pretty obsessed with makeup, but MAC is amazing. Now I can't stop with MAC! I would have loved to have a friend who shared my passion as well! It's difficult when your friends think you're crazy because your M A and C are rubbing off of your lipglass!

I still can't believe you used to live here. That is mind blowing. The best of luck to you out there, sweetheart!

YAY, Diamanda Galas fans! There aren't enough of us in the world.

Hm, songs that make me depressed... there are soooo soooo soooooooooo many great ones.

Lots of stuff off Current 93's Soft Black Stars album. Pretty much all of it, really.
Antony and the Johnsons' "Cripple and the Starfish"
Lots of Angelo Badalamenti stuff, but most recently "Angels Go to Heaven" off the Evilenko soundtrack
DeVotchKa's "Blessing in Disguise"
Buck 65's "Out of Focus" and "Cries a Girl"
Coil's "A Cold Cell"
Piano Magic's "Help Me Warm This Frozen Heart"
Nine Inch Nails' "The Great Below"
Most of the Pan's Labyrinth soundtrack
Azure Ray's "I Will Do These Things" and "We Are Mice"

There's toooons more, but yeah, I'll leave it for now.
