I think I'll be getting one pigment set next week. None of the lipglass sets are striking me as must have. That's great because that means I get to save more for upcoming collections.

I saw the individual items today! This is a nice collection, yet not many items were screaming "must-have" to me. I may want some of the items, but I know that even if it sold out before I get it, I wouldn't feel too bad about it. *shrugs*

The e/s were so-so, rather sheer and they seem to have a lot of sheen to them. I bought Enviably Fun precisely because it's sheer; I figured since I'll be entering the workforce soon I might be able to get away with green e/s in the office if it's sheer enough. Lol. Glamora Castle is crazily pretty, I really love the blue cast to it. I don't wear greys that often so I don't know if I should get it after all, but I think it would look great paired with Enviably Fun.

Pigments when swatched dry, only TFC showed some color while the other two were just black with some shimmer to them. When swatched wet though, all 3 were amazing. Moonlight Night is not a color I would wear, and I noticed it was the only one that stained the back of my hand after wiping off the swatches. I'm thinking if I should go back for TFC, but I really only need one tablespoon of pigment and not the whole jar (anyone feeling generous?

)... Anyway I really hate the new packaging, it might even stop me from buying the piggies. :X

Nail polishes... Sly As A Fox looked more brown than red on me, not in a good way. I wasn't going to buy Style Clan, but once I swatched it I knew I had to have it. I'm such a sucker for taupe polishes.
greengrin.gif
I compared it with ChG Ingrid, and in the bottle the two looked pretty similar, although Ingrid was a little more brown and Style Clan had a little more grey to it.

Lipsticks... Courting Lilac didn't show up on me. TFG was more brown than I expected (a Chanel MA recently showed me that I shouldn't be putting anything brown on my lips because it makes my face look very sallow - and she was right). Cut A Caper is pretty but I already have Jazzed and Ever Hip, so I don't know if I should get it anyhow.

Blushes... MHH was so sheer and unimpressive. I personally thought HBC was very pretty and didn't seem as intimidating as Azalea (which has a stronger duochrome look to it). I might go back for HBC.

I was kinda tempted by Radiant Jewels and the purple l/g (Gone Romancin?), but I'm slowly falling in love with Chanel glossimers because of their non-stickiness, so I decided to skip the dazzleglass cremes.
winks.gif

All in all, I hauled:
Style Clan n/l
Enviably Fun e/s
Full Fuchsia l/s

I might go back for:
Glamora Castle e/s
TFC p/m
HBC blush
Cut A Caper l/s

I can't stop staring at the swatches! I've probably wasted at least an hour of time just looking at them.

But, with deep contemplation comes answers, at least for me. So, I think I'm just gonna stick with smoky + pink. All of the other sets are absolutely incredible IMO, but I don't think I'd get as much use out of them.

Can't wait for next week!

Thank you for the suggestion! I feel like wearing more pinkish The Faerie Glen, too.

I've been wearing TFG with Viva Glam Cyndi l/g. They make a beautiful MLBB nude red.
love.gif
I cannot wait to try TFG with Magnetique l/g , True Babe l/g kinda hot pink gloss for nude pink lips.

Oh I'll try that for sure, sounds lovely. VG Cyndi is so beautiful, shame it's only available for a year...

I didn't think about that. That's a really good way to get good use out of them! I want to see them in person, but I think I will be getting one!

I just happened upon the Warm pigments set and instantly wanted. I am going to try to get Sir Teddy for my 3 year old son and probably another one for my 3 month old daughter to play with when she gets older. My son has been such a trooper accompanying me to MAC more than a dozen times, I think he deserves one!

I think I've decided to get all 3 lipglass sets.

I like most of the glosses in the pink and coral sets, and there are a few in the neutral set I'd really like. I figure the ones I know I won't use will make an awesome stocking stuffer for my sister in law. She's warmer toned and more tan than I am, and the colors I'm passing on are the colors she looks beautiful in. I'll tie a pretty fabric ribbon around the little bunch of mini glosses and into the stocking they go!

I'll be keeping 2 of the tins (love, love them!), but I'll fill the third one up with my Mother in law's favorite candies and toss that into her stocking. I know she'll be thrilled (very proud Scottish mom) and I can part with one of the tins for such an awesome lady.

I'm excited! 2 great stocking stuffers + pretty glosses for me = a perfect plan!

That's a very good point, one that my daughter will appreciate you saying!
I'm going to do the same for her.

Edit:
dang it. That was a reply to bevcita. I have to stop posting without previewing.

Oh try it. It's really pretty.

I enjoy experimenting the lip combo with it. The Faerie Glen makes everything nude-y.

Yes, it's shame VG Cyndi is LE.

ACK! I can't seem to get Black Line completely gone from my mind. A part of it is just hanging on to me. Hmm...what to do...buy or skip...

I still haven't gone back for Semi-Precious or A Wish Come True yet...now Im going back and forth on those.
shrugs.gif
I really did like them when I swatched them on my hand. A Wish Come true was a light color but pretty if you like a hint of color. Semi-Precious...I think I would have to go light with it, not too heavy of a hand

Being that I don't want anything from Chapter 2 (!), I may just go ahead and pick up all 3 items...or atleast the eyeshadows...

Does anyone know the size of the tins? I'm wondering if I can use them as brush holders...
I know that the l/g tins are taller, and those are the ones I'm planning on using for my brushes... I think the pigment ones will be a bit too short, but you could probably use it for travel-sized brushes!
smiles.gif
At least, that's my master plan... Maybe I'll use one as a perfume sample tin or to hold my cotton pads and Q-tips
