I feel like most of my posts lately have been links, but I'm just too excited every time something pops up in my feed reader! They'll just have to tide me over till my order arrives on the 22nd.

Thanks dear! No, not at all. It's a beautiful pearl white but not overly stark white. The beige is just like a soft peachy beige and the pink is a really pretty soft rose pearly pink. Hubby said last night that he really loved the dark black green pearl shade on me. So, I told him I was going to wear it to Home Depot

Thanks dear! No, not at all. It's a beautiful pearl white but not overly stark white. The beige is just like a soft peachy beige and the pink is a really pretty soft rose pearly pink. Hubby said last night that he really loved the dark black green pearl shade on me. So, I told him I was going to wear it to Home Depot

I agree on the rose colour, so I'll be curious to see if it works on me.
I don't have Garden Party. Saw it at my counters before but haven't seen it this year. Maybe this is a replacement of it?

Oh lol, if I am not able to come around Spektra for a couple of days, then I myself with a horrible delay in reading so many new posts!
Elegant, your pics are simply gorgeus. Thank you very much for sharing them! As usual I don't know when I'll be able to get my hands on this collection but I am completely sure on Black Pearl and the peach np, the peach lip liner and the two RC's. My maybes are the quint, the JC (I just got two new NARS blushes and I feel like I have enough - don't worry ladies, that weird sensation will vanish soon, hehe) and Nakkar glossimer. Can you believe that I don't own any glossimer yet? Since Christmas collection is not around yet (and I think it won't be) I lost my faith in getting Pink Pulsion, so I guess I will may my revenge with Spring collection glossimer.

Unfortunately for me, my local Chanel counter had the collection so I am much poorer now. The collection is gorgeous, everything seems to go to together well. I picked up the quad, quint, blush, jersey rose, the peach lipstick, the darker gloss and the eye liner. Needless to say, I am not buying any more makeup for a while.
I tried on the blush and it is amazing. It's a true peach color. I'm not sure how this will show up on darker skin tones because it is light. I'm an NC15-20 (Mac) and it works well w/my skin.
The only thing that I thought was just so-so was the quint. They are all shimmers and I'm a little concerned when wearing the shades together it might be too much shimmer. I need to try it on before I decide if it's a keeper. For $65, I want to be sure I can make use out of this. Also, I feel like I have colors that are very close to these in some of the quads that I have.
Seems like I've replaced my Mac addiction with a Chanel addiction. (if only it wasn't so expensive).

Enjoy your goodies MaryJane and please, let me know about your decision on the quint. I am afraid too that it will be too shiny for me and I prefer to splurge in lip stuff instead if I am not goin to use those eyeshadows a lot.
I am happy to confirm it's not just me who is changing her cosmetics preferences!

I'm so torn on this quint. I really need to see some good quality swatches to determine the level of shimmer and pigmentation before I decide. I know I definately love the colours and actually have a need for them in my collection but the finish I'm so unsure of.
I can't wait to see swatches of the quad next to the Winter Night. I just did a dramatic eye using the dark green shade in Winter Night and I'm sure they must be similar. I figured I go all out and do a dramatic eye since this is my last day wearing full eye makeup for a long time since my eye surgery is on Wednesday.
OH well....at least I'll have more time in the mornings now right? LOL

OK because I'm bored...here is the look I did today using Winter Night quad to try and curb my desire for the new quad LOL
And we must have one last picture with full makeup and the soon to be GONE glasses ;-)
Please excuse all the gray hair. I was having a hard time scheduling having it done with the holidays and my surgery etc so it's not being done till the 30th EEK! Do you guys think I should cut it a tad shorter rather than continuing to grow it out? I feel so wild when my hair gets long sometimes LOL

mrslid, you're so pretty!! And the grey-greens look great with your hair and eye color. Could I ask what your foundation routine is? Your skin looks seriously AMAZING in these pictures.

Damn. The quint is totally out for me...way too much frost going on there for me. I think the hand swatch knocked Peregrina RC off my list too, so now I'm holding at needing 3 lipsticks, lol. When more swatches show up maybe it'll be back up to 4, or down to 2? Who knows!
By the way, I hope all goes well with the eye surgery! Let us know what you think of the results when you can.

I really like your hair this length. It looks so playful and pretty and not "too serious" you know? I think this current length really flatters your face shape and features as well. You really do look amazing!
I have to ask: What are you wearing on your lips? I love it!

Aww thank you everyone for the nice comments! So is it just me or do you guys think this green is similar? Ugh I know I likely won't be able to resist the new one...who am I kidding lol. I'm wearing Chanel le Blanc Illuminating base and MUFE F&B foundation with the Guerlain holiday meteorites as setting powder. I tried to dupe Espiegle with Estee Lauder Radiant Peach. I really, really love MUFE F&B!! It's so natural looking. It is so sheer though that it doesn't always cover my foundation redness. I just found a new trick a couple days ago that I'm loving though. I put itnon first with my fingers then letnit set than put another sheer layer on with my Sephora #55 platinum professional brush and it actually covers pretty well while still looking natural over my freckles. I really appreciate all the skin complements. I obsess over it. I'm so excited because I think in the new year I'm going to get some photofacials to help with the rosacea and pigmentation issues. Which means I should control my makeup spending!! On my lips I have on Mythic Rouge Allure with my new Guerlain Kiss Kiss gloss in #841 ;-)

I think this es may be close but more grey than the black pearl color in the quad - its deeper & maybe just a bit more deep forest green than this.
