Alright so no quads for me...pre-swatches I was thinking about Defiance and now it's off the brain. Seems like I'm only buying lip products from these collections that are coming out...not good.

Anyhoooo....my list has been edited and so right now my list looks like this:

l/g Emancipation (I typed Athena's Kiss by mistake doy)
l/s Marquise d
l/s Russian Red
blush Mighty Aphrodite
msf Golden Lariat
n/p blue & red
red bag
mirror
t-shirt

Was really hoping the color pay off was going to be good from those quads, but they are not so I'm passing. :(

hmm so after temptalia's swatches my list has completely changed! i don't want either msf because they'll both be too orange for me (shame about the huge bronzer part in pink power as i loved the blush and highlight colours). i still want emancipation (possibly even more than before!) and i def want at least one marquis d' as i think i'll probably love it. the only maybes are the green quad which looks gorrrgeous and i am a sucker for greens, and mighty aphrodite blush duo. i thought i'd lean towards amazon princess as i'm cool toned but it's too bright and i like the colours of mighty aphrodite more :) yayy my list is narrowed down!

When I saw the swatches of the quads, they disappointed me. I was going to get Valiant for Manila Paper e/s but I think I might wait for it to show up online. I'm going for Mighty Aphrodite Blush Duo, Athena's Kiss l/g and Golden Lariat MSF.

Hmm I didn't know bottle green was permanent at pro. thanks I think I'll just pick that up instead, and 2 eyeshadows from peacocky.

I am going to get the MA blush , and maybe Amazon Princess if I like how it shows up on my skin. I also have high hopes on Secret Identity for some reason.

Edit: I've looked and they seem kinda similar. The finish to MA is different, of course. It has frost in it and BOA is a matte. On me, BOA pulls a bit red, reddish coral. It makes me wonder if I actually need MA now. Damn, that was the one thing I thought I might get.

[/quote] Bottle Green is at pro. So, I'm going to just go ahead and get Mighty Aphrodite. I'm still going back and forth on Amazon Princess. I might just leave it. I was considering the mirror, but how many damn mirrors do I need? I feel so weird ordering just one thing.

Even after the comparisons I still want Spitfire l/s. It's darker and less bright than the dupes.

Still can quite make up my mind about Athena's Kiss. Wish I can see a lip swatch of it on someone paler. A lot of the times lippies look way different on me then on Christine. Are any pale beauties picking it up?

I'm with you all about the quads, so disappointing, but at 40$ a pop it's better that way for me. So glad I like Dandizette better than True Babe in the blue LJ quad. Here goes another order from Peacocky lol

Thinking I'll pass on a backup for Marquise D' I'll just get one and get Sandy B later, they look pretty simular. Still def want to get a Marquise D' though.

I kind of like Spitfire too. Looking at it next to Style Curve, I like that its darker and maybe more pigmented. I was going to B2M for Style Curve, but Spitfire looks better. I never hauled anything in that color range.

I have both Love Lace and Dandizette both used in the comparison swatches. I also have Deep Truth and I will haul Sea and Sky. And I have Scene if I want to add a little gray into the mix.

Did anyone notice that Sketch and Real Drama look very close to each other in the comparison swatches?

I was thinking of checking them as well as checking Spitfire against Something New. I'm just worried that by the time WW collection comes out the Stylishly Yours collection will not be in stores or on line anymore.

That's why I'm skipping Athena's Kiss cuz I have BOR and they are very close. Was hoping AK was different. Looking at both of them they resemble each other a lot. :(

Wow. I am such a sucker for great displays and atmosphere. I definitely need to stay away from the store until this collection is gone or else I'll end up buying a ton of crap that I know I don't want. I do love the packaging, though and I'm keeping my boxes.

Anyway so I just saw T's swatches and now I think all the quads are out for me, all the l/s... infact I guess the only thing I might get is the Pink Power MSF, Wonder Woman l/s and the blue and purple mascara. I do like Valiant e/s tho in the quad but that's the only color I like :(

I am so sorry you had such a horrible day. Here in TN if you leave your car like that TDOT has the right to use equipment to push them off on the side. I think it was last year people were doing that and it closed down one of the interstates for a quite a long while. My husband told his men push them out the way we got people out there who need medicine, diabetics, kids and others that need food and so on. I couldn't believe how people just left their vehicles right in the middle of the lane and walk off an exit ramp.

My husband had his guys go buy over 300 sandwiches and drinks for the people stranded in their cars. I think that Waffle House was the only thing open so all they could get was grilled cheese. One guy was so pissed off that he was stuck he threw the sandwich back at the man who handed it to him. When he called my hubby and told him I just thought "you ungratful bastard they didn't have to bring you a damn thing, you could've just sit out there and be hungry for hours."

I bought Bottle Green when it came out a few years ago when they added a bunch of pro colors. I was going to Vegas (before my store here became pro) and picked up a few. It is very pretty but I have trouble with dark mattes and sometimes I just don't take the time, but it makes a beautiful liner.

Thank you so much for that link. I would so LOVE to attend and see one of those major events. Like Shontay I am a sucker for this stuff, the displays, models just the whole she-bang.

I too would get so wrapped up in it all I would buy way more than I really wanted. A good time for me to attend one of these would have been something for VV when I spent a small fortune anyway.
