katred - Cambon is beautiful! I love it a lot! More than Flamboyante, in fact.

I'm thinking that it looks different enough from the other reds that I have to make it worth a purchase. Only one that I can think of in my collection that's close is Gesina from the Mac/ MW collection, but I think Cambon is more pink. At least, that's what I'm going to tell myself.

And these don't smell like most Dior lipsticks do, which is a plus for me. I normally cannot stand it.

Elegant, I have the Lilac - it is gorgeous.....and it was a toss-up for me between PR and Rose Blossom - I got the RB because it had a tad more pink in it, and wasn't as dark.......but both are very pretty.

And I need to check out Cambon as well - I've always had my eye on it, but never entertained it too seriously because it is so bright, but I may have to break down.....

I have been craving chocolate all day, but I didn't work out today, so I have to be good (dang it).

After all of the searching for what Chanel lipstick Camilla Belle was wearing to that Chanel event:

^^ Thanks for that link - mystery solved!! I didn't even look at the MW stuff when it came out - nothing really intrigued me, and I think you're right - Taffetas is a close dupe.

Elegant, Lilac is a pinky lilac, not a purple-y one.....I can't think of what I would compare it to, but I can swatch it (not till Friday though). I also have Mod Pink, which I love! It's a MLBB color for me. Very muted but still rich.

I didn't see Salmon - sounds awesome! I got Guava, but was also tempted by Sheer Nectar - they were both VERY close on me, but Guava had a smidge more punch, if that makes any sense.

I want warmer weather!! I feel funny wearing spring makeup without the spring clothes! It's supposed to be really cold here again tomorrow, so I'm still wearing my winter wardrobe.....so tired of it. Boo.

Most of the counters that I checked didn't even get Nectar in their shipment yet. I love Guava

Salmon is an older one (but I missed it) Its a softer peach than the new one - soft coral I think

^^ I was mistaken - I got Heather Pink, which is MLBB. Mod Pink is definitely brighter, and on my list still.

I heard that they gave the BB counter reps Sweet Nectar, and the speculation is that's why they don't have any .

I'm not a BB connoisseur by any means, but from what I've experienced, dryness shouldn't be a worry. I haven't tried any of the matte or metallic shades, but the ones I have are very moist... Might depend on the tone you pick, but hopefully you have the same experience I do.

I'm completely unsure when the RC Shines are launching up here. There's one girl who works for Chanel (I've seen her both at their counter in The Bay and at Murale) who seems a little more reliable than most people there. The last time I went to the Chanel counter when she wasn't working, the woman there insisted on putting the lipstick I wanted to try on for me... and she still missed my lips. I can put lipstick on without a mirror and get it right. How the heck did she miss looking right at me with a brush in hand?

^^ I agree that BB lipsticks shouldn't cause you to have dry lips - my lips are the driest on the planet (from Accutane use in my 20's) and I constantly have to have something on my lips. I'm wearing the BB this morning, without any balm (my brand of choice is Chapstick) and they feel great. I don't think I'm going to have an issue with these at all. And the color payoff is beyond words!

Katred, I don't know what it is about some makeup 'artists' - I feel like they think people who visit counters are inept and can't possibly know what they want or what they're doing. Or maybe they feel they have to 'do' something. Or maybe they feel they'll keep you from using it somewhere they don't want you to use it. I'm very leery of the counter folks until I get to know them better. I don't like to be pressured, and sometimes just want to look. When I 'find' one, I cultivate the heck out of him/her.

elegant - thanks for the swatches! I was at the dior counter today and they didn't have it yet, but they will be launched tomorrow! The friendly SA gave a a brochure containing swatches of the entire line, all 42 shades, with the all lipsticks with their bullets extented halfway too! I can't stop examining it and the standouts are 564 model, 554 It pink, 745 new look and 865 collection. But it will change when i see them in person as those swatches never tell the true story lol.
