I hope Rouge Byzantin will look as lovely on me as it does on you. Glad to see it has a tad more red than pink. My first Chanel purchase will be GLORIOUS.

When I said pink/fuchsia based red, it simply meant that the base color will have those tones to it not that it is actually pink or fuchsia - just the undertones

We had a great time at the wedding. My girls loved dressing up and I did all of their hair in a "messy" side bun. My little 5 year old looked so grown up! Now, I'm doing loads and loads of laundry . . .

Oh, that colour is gorgeous! Adding to every growing wishlist. I am trying to get a few Chanel reds that look best on me. Yesterday I went to Nordies and bought Lover and topped it with Myriade Glossimer. I love it so much that now I want to get another, maybe Passion. I swatched quite a few and have now lost track of which ones looked cooler toned on me and best. I want this collection so badly! I hope I will be able to snag something online.

On a whim today I ordered the whole Byzance kit and kaboodle (the quad, the 2 JCs and the lipstick) - just said what the heck. I called the Soho boutique. I'll have it Wednesday, so if the light is good, I'll post a pic (along with my weekend haul, Haven

) and describe the colors as best I can.

Michelle, Pampille is a fabulous, sparkly medium pink - I love it so much I'm thinking about a backup (can't remember if it's perm). The sparkles aren't crazy, they just give a really nice effect. And it looks good over both of the lipsticks.......not to enable.....not that I would EVER do THAT!!

I hope you had a great time at the wedding!! There's lots to catch up on here!

To my Canadian girls, the strike may soon be over. I think Parliament passed legislation yesterday to force the postal workers back (crappy that it has to be that way), I think it was supposed to go to the Senate today. I haven't even glanced at today's news yet though (t'was a long busy day). I was lucky to get my LM gel lippies shortly before the strike, but our tax refund and HST rebate have been held up, and we need them!

We had my baby girl's birthday party today with some of her friends! We went to a place where they painted ceramics and they will be glazed and baked later on. It was very sweet! She's going to be five, and I'm going to be a mess, lol! For some reason, five just seems like the jump out of toddlerhood to childhood. I'm not ready for that just yet!
