Lou -- Love your look! The red lipstick looks gorgeous on you!

MissQQ -- I don't own either, but I think from seeing pictures that Chintz is quite a bit peachier than Plumetis. I did buy Chintz for a friend of mine, and when she wore it it looked like a peachy pink on her. Plumetis looks like much more of a nude color -- but Plumetis looks different in all of the pictures I've seen. Maybe someone on here has both they can swatch??

Michelle is exactly right despite not owning either! Plumetis is more nude and also more sheer. Chintz is a brighter, clearer color. I much prefer Plumetis on my neutral-warm self. Here are some pics in different light conditions. Chintz on the left, Plumetis on the right:

Everybody looks so fantastic and yes, as someone said, this has a very classic Chanel look to it! I love it and can't wait for mine to arrive!

Lou--you look crazy glamorous! Like others have said I love how universally flattering the Byzance collection is. Awesome first (major) Chanel purchase for me.

Looking back on my pic with Rose Cuivre + Etole + Braise, I think I may skip all three. Aside from the shimmer from Braise the combo looks pretty close to Imperial on my lips, just a little bit deeper/redder. Since I'll soon have Imperial in my grubby paws I can do a better comparison then.

For some reason I can't see any pictures on specktra for the past 2 or 3 days

I tried Firefox now instead of Chrome, at least it shows me links where the pics should be, but nothing happens when I click on them. Frustrating.

I'm always using the same laptop computer and Google Chrome and I haven't changed any settings as far as I know. I have the same issues sometimes lately, with facebook for example, sometimes the laptop just start acting up, but usually when I restart it it's OK, but not this time. Don't know what this is right know, but I'm pretty sure it has to do with my computer and not Specktra. No error messages or anything. I'll see if this continues and let you know if I know anything more about it.

Thank you all for your very sweet comments!! My hair is 'have its own mind' hair - I decided to grow it out but refused to have to use a hair dryer on it this summer to straighten it, so this is what it does. It's very easy but most of the time I feel like my head looks like a small shrub.

^I'm in the same boat Shypo--there's a reason I didn't show my hair in my pic, LOL. Growing out a pixie cut when you have thick wavy/nappy hair is a PITA.

So happy! My Byzance Collection and the Prelude Quad arrived safe and sound today, plus a few fun samples. I love it all, but especially the pinkish tone in both the blush and the lipstick (at least on me, but I think you can see it in these pictures) that I was not expecting. The blush is a lovely deep pinkish rose colour, but not pure red, so I think more wearable than I expected. I will use a light hand when I try it out...not today. I am all bubblegum pink looking to match my nails! But here are my goodies and I am so glad I decided to get them all. The e/s is amazing. It still reminds me of the holidays and I think just became my solid holiday season purchase. I have the lipstick on now and it is slightly more pink toned and cooler than Lover, the red I have on in my avatar pic. These colours are so rich and warm and deserve to be worn with cashmere and thick gold jewelry!

My order just got here too. Topkapi is amazing, I agree. I love the 2 browns and the taupe is absolutely gorgeous.

The texture of the shadows is amazingly buttery and they're all super pigmented as everyone has been saying in reviews. Even the gold is not quite as intimidating as I was picturing. So glad I ordered it! The blush goes warmer on my cheeks than it looks in the pan but is pretty easy not to overdo, so that's great. I used my Alima Kitten Brush, which is a synthetic skunk brush.

WOW! Everything looks amazing! I'm still going to hold out on the red lippie... I have SO MANY and I don't use them nearly as often as I should. But I'm going to get a ton of use out of the quad and I plan to blend the blushes. Can't wait!

Good Heavens - just got my package at 7:45!!!!!

The quad is gorgeous! I used the gold shadow as a liner just under my lower lash - gorgeous & eye brightening. Love it. All the colors are lovely.
It's weird to me - I think that blush is cool & warm if thats possible. It looked fairly warm in the pan, but turns a bit cooler looking on me. Anyhow I think its quite gorgeous on.Very happy.

Thank you everyone so much for the kind comments. I just used an eyeshadow primer underneath the shadow. Khaki Platine is under my lower lashes, and I did use it on my waterline with no issues.
