Rads - thanks for the pic. Lagons is really pretty!

Cheryl - Do you prefer the LMdB curler more or shu? I have shu and it is heavier and more bulky than Chanel, but curls my lashes more.

Elegant - I have put out more than 10 lashes from my right eye while using the shu curler. My fingers slipped and it pulled out the lashes. It hurt like pulling out a lot of my eyebrows at the same time. My heart ached more than the physical pain lol. I stopped counting at the 10th lash. It took about 6 weeks for them to grow out, and I just thought my poor eye is so bare. It's quite amusing though. The Chanel curler feels less threatening to use than shu, probably because it doesn't have the metal finish and is lighter.

On Rose Envolee, I only swatched it, and don't own it. But I've seen it on a MA and it looks gorgeous on her, with the pink and dark eggplant standing out. She has dark brown hair and eyes, and I thought it made her eyes pop.

I think I actually prefer the LMdB curler to Shu - I think maybe it's because I have small eyes - I don't know. I just can't seem to find a 'comfortable' curler. So a lot of times I forgo it altogether......

Rads -- gorgeous pic of the Lagons quad! I love the dark blue shade

Elegant -- I am also scared of eyelash curlers. I knew someone who ripped out the eyelashes in one eye (she had put mascara on first, and didn't let it dry enough before curling her lashes) -- Eeeks!

MissQQ -- oh my, I can't imagine waiting 6 weeks for your lashes to grow back in! The things we do!!

Cheryl -- hmmm, maybe if I do look into a lash curler it should be the LMdB one. I saw Amy at Cafe Makeup review that one.

Hii everyone...just found out my eyelash curler will reach only around the 17th.....am getting so impatient waiting. I am very scared of eyelash curlers. I tried the Shiseido curler once at the counter, and the SA almost died laughing at me - I just won't put the lashes in the curler :D :D

I feel like I must be the only one interested in the Stylo Yeux Taupe eyeliner...I haven't seen any reviews or swatches for it yet.

^^ Hmmmmm....interesting. I hadn't considered Taupe - I wonder if it's perm and that's why there isn't a fuss?

Here's a swatch of it. She says it's permanent.

Thank you, it is not at all what I expected. The description is a "Brown Grey" but there sure are some purple tones in it. Now that I know that it is perm, I can relax about that one.

I have it and like it. I have tried Shu's however, it pinched my eye lid. This doesn't. I really like that it is black because you don't see any product on the curler. However, it is a challenge to see where your lashes are when curling.

So, I bought the eyelash curler today
girlhaha.gif
It was so sleek & lovely in person & then...the Chanel lady said, "I only have 4 left" & yep, that did it

And then I drooled over the Holiday brochure some more.

Cheryl - thanks for your comments. If I could I would skip the curler too. That is why I dont use mascara daily and leave them bare most of the time. When I do, I have to curl first because I have straight, droopy lashes. Elegant - lol, enjoy! Chanel has the holiday brochure already? Lucky you! This fall collection we didn't get a brochure, sometimes we have and other times we don't. It seems random. Jmarie - now that you mention, I remember shu pinched my lids too. But it curls my lashes more. After using Chanel I find it hard to go back to she because it is bulkier. Guess I have to look out for the next better curler. Michelle - lol I didn't have much of a choice other than waiting for the lashes to grow out. I could put false lashes but to do it daily is quite challenging. The good thing about my naturally sparse and wimpy lashes is that it isn't obvious that one eye had lashes and the other was almost bare. Lol!

I was told yesterday that the lagons and vanites quads are scheduled for a limited release and that they will not become part of the permanent collection. I asked her how limited, and she told me a couple of months. I don't know how accurate this info is, but I thought that I would share - in case anyone is debating about getting these quads.

I have Vanities, Fauve and Twilight on hold for me until Friday. I was unprepared for how beautiful the singles are. Can't wait to do Twilight on the lid, Fauve in the crease and a winged black liner.
