Nope. It was just slightly darker than my own skin. It didn't excite me at all. I was hoping it would have more kick.oh no! Outre didn't work out for you?

I purchased the Evil Eye Quad and love it. The quad gets an A from me. The colors are unique and I've had no problems at all with color pay off. Definitely try it to see if it works for you.I may have to make another trip to my counter to look at Evil Eye. I really love colors like it. And I've had good experiences with other "hated" quads (like the WW Defiance quad, which I just wore the other day).
Of course, I am also NC20 and wear smoky eyes a lot as a day look, so I also like the idea of a "buildable" dark quad. I have lots of dark colors already, and if Evil Eye was super-pigmented, I probably wouldn't need it -- I have plenty of blackened colors.
So, if I had kept to my gut instincts, I would've just had Creamy Bisque and Street Cool and i would've been a happy camper. Instead, I was enabled and bought Outre, Cakeshop and Heirloom. All of which suck.
Best lip product for me is definitely Runaway Red - perfect red of my dreams (but it's red, which is often tricky, so mileage may vary). With the hurricane... I still haven't gotten a chance to head to look at this collection.
In your opinion, what's been the best things from the collection now that everyone has had a chance to play around with their stuff??

For best shadow, I think Creamy Bisque is one of the nicer MAC highlight shadows I've seen from them - if you're looking for one, it's very sophisticated. Otherwise, Mythical if you want a gorgeous color with a beautiful shine. I like Moleskin very much but that and Outre won't work equally for all skin tones. Carbonized is too samey for me.
You can't go wrong with the colored Fluidlines, especially Avenue and Dark Envy.
Shadesticks are all quite skippable except Street Cool, but even that's not a must.
I love Equilibrium, since it's not easy to find a brown blush for light skin and it's so easy to apply perfectly without having to go back and blend, blend, blend. If you don't already have something like this, it's pretty much the most fashion forward cheek color coming up for fall, winter and probably beyond (although i bet there will be a contouring backlash and we might see some screeching loud, bright blushes in spring/summer 2012.)
I hate that the MA told me I couldn't back-to-mac collection lipsticks when I asked if I could do it for Runaway Red. Was she making up her own damn rule??!!
Thanks Mac-Guy. Next time I will do just that and see what happens. I just went ahead and bought the lipstick when she said I couldn't Back-To-MAC for it. I wasn't leaving without it! LOL! I started to go to another counter and try for Smoked Purple but just decided to go eat in the food court and went home but in the future I'll definitely try another counter. Thanks.I'm sorry to hear that. Try a different MA or counter.

Is it worth getting avenue if I have backtrack? Are they very similar when worn?Best lip product for me is definitely Runaway Red - perfect red of my dreams (but it's red, which is often tricky, so mileage may vary).
