Rachel from Makeup Never Sleeps uses the holiday highlighter in this vid, and seeing it in action has got my blood burning already. I MUST HAVE IT! I don't have a subtle powder highlighter yet (most of mine are quite obvious), so this is going to need to come home with me.Or at least that's the reasoning I used to convince myself.

Oh yes, the RCS, too! I need to try out more BB products -- I am just to overwhelmed with everything I have now. I have enough Chanel l/s and glosses to last me forever . . . yet I still am accumulating more. I need a cute vanity table stat!

Oh I loved that video Honey! SO funny, she's great. The highlighter looked amazing. Several of the Chanel people I spoke with all said it looks beautiful dusted lightly over blushes too. Yeah, I think its going to be a fab highlighter. Geesh, how many times did I say I was NOT going to get it
I was wonder how the YSL eyeliner she used in the video compares to the Chanel one - anyone have either?

I have the Chanel and like it but my fave is the LeMetier de Beaute. Never tried the YSL. I'm liquid liner impaired and the LMdB is the easiest by far of any I've tried. I just wish it came in brown too.
Michelle, I agree...now I see why Cheryl likes that Guerlain palette so much. I'd use the colors differently than in the video but I think I might need it now too.

Not to influence you any more, but the new Guerlain quads are verrrrry nice. I have two and I like them, a lot. I just wish the colors were more unique and the packaging would be silver or black, but that's probably too much to ask

No, Les Perles is pretty much the only thing I have. I did try Les Fumes and thought it was gorgeous but ended up giving it to a friend because even though it is different from Prelude for me it was similar enough to where I felt like I didn't need both and I liked Prelude better on myself. Oh and I did also swap for the Blush G Serie Noire awhile back and that is really pretty, but other than that I haven't ventured into Guerlain. Someone sent me a sample of meteorites to try a couple years ago and of course my finicky skin did not like them so that's one temptation I'm forced to avoid.

You are very welcome! Yes, the PG is definitely more frosty than the Holiday one, so they are different enough to justify buying both if you are looking to build your highlighter collection or want them for very different looks. I swatched some of the lip products I purchased and it is now up on my blog if anyone wants to check it out. If I buy anything else from this collection it might be that amazing and unique gold eyeliner for one of my fairy looks. But I think I am happy with what I have got! I have to spread the wealth. Gail -- when you just mentioned Prelude, I forgot that I never got that quad. How could that have happened? I love cool neutrals. At least it is perm, right??
Too bad the meteorites didn't work for you. I better check the ingredients before I order . . . I do wish I would have splurged on the Blush G -- it looked so stunning. You are lucky to have snagged one!!

I don't really like it when companies heavily fragrance their products. Is the violet scent very pronounced with the meteorites? I don't mind the Chanel rose scent at all. But I haven't smelled the Guerlain yet . . . I saw on Dr. Oz (okay, for what that is worth) that scented face products break down collagen. Hmmm, I hope not or I'm in trouble LOL

OHMY - the highlighter is just pure elegant GORGEOUS on! & so beautiful in the compact ahhhhhh
I am in love love with this collection. In all honesty, the combination of Brun Rose blush, Enivree ls, the highlighter & I'm sure once I see Beige Lame in person with it - is such a soft Classic Elegant Beautiful feminine look that I could throw away ALL my other makeup (except Joyeuse ls) and wear this look/colors for the rest of my life and be happy - seriously.

^Right - Enivree ls - gorgeous rosy pink peach with insanely beautiful gold shimmer. Right - Famous ls & below it is RB
^Brun Rose Blush - GORGEOUS warm Peachy Pink

Ahhhh, that blush is GORGEOUS on & then the highlighter high on the cheekbones is just beautiful together - I LOVE LOVE it on. All highlighters are not created equal This HL is just beautiful on & creates instant cheekbones & a beautiful glow/light to the face
RB ls is similar to Famous but RB is a bit deeper.
Enivree is such a beautiful pinky peach with rich gold shimmer & shows up just lovely & perfect in color on my pigmented lips.
Oh, I am going back for Sweet Beige gloss because I think it will be lovely with the rest of these shades.
