delivery day!!!!!

Same here! Waiting with bated breath for my Hyde Park--will it blow my mind as my HG coral/pink, or will it turn into some weird pink monstrosity against my skin tone? Will also be getting my Exotic from Izzy's today; was supposed to get it Saturday but OF COURSE the PO delivered early for once and I was at lunch when they delivered.

I swear, my local PO ticks me off...they usually deliver late (I get my mail around 5 at times!) and they ONLY deliver early when I'm expecting something. Even then they don't knock--I've gotten those peach slips saying "we missed you!" when I was at home! My house isn't huge, it's not like I wouldn't have heard you!

*ahem* Anywho, speaking of waiting...my interview Friday went extremely well and I'm 99% confident I'll be hired!

They said due to the holidays they won't be able to do a follow-up interview till after the beginning of the year, but I'm still pretty sure I got in. If so I'll definitely celebrate my victory with some Chanel makeup that's been on the back burner...or maybe finally get that bottle of Coromandel I've been wanting forever.

Ok, I love everything! My dumb camera isn't working -- the settings are all off and all pictures turn out overexposed. ugggh, I will have to have hubs help me fix that when he gets home and then I can take some pics.
I haven't tried on everything (I can't fit everything on my face at one time LOL) -- but everything is gorgeous and I will report more after I can try everything!

Charme -- have it on right now, perfect mid tone pink
Bagatelle -- gorgeous peachy pink

The box everything came in is lovely -- I am keeping it with my others

Reporting back for Elegant- I wore Mirifique today with no staining. Although I was wearing it over Epatant, so I'm not sure if that was why it didn't stain. I'll keep you posted when I wear it alone.

It also does not stain on me.

Just to make everyone giggle a bit - our dear Winthrop (who knows my mu collection more than myself) reminded me that I had already purchased Orchid Rose blush awhile back. I couldn't find it anywhere....until just a bit ago. :nope: :haha: Nothing like loving a color so much you buy it twice. I feel like such a Hubs said I should just give it to our DIL

Delivery just came. No Chanel box with June in it. Only Sephora box with Anastasia eyebrow pencil. Maybe later today. I asked our mailroom guys to pay special attention to Chanel packages and bring it up immediately.

Yay! I am so happy for you! Everything sounds wonderful and I am so excited that Brompton sounds like it is well worth the money! The swatches have been so beautiful that I knew I had to get both blushes. You have down Sunset blush....do you mean Soft Glow (the new Spring one) or is this yet another one? I am such a fair skinned person that I think it will look super sweet on me! I can't wait to get my orders! I was pulling out my glosses to prepare for a upcoming blog post and swatched all my Chanel ones. I really have a bit of room to grow so Bagatelle (on its way) sounds like a perfect coral pink for me! Congrats on receiving all your goodies!!

Thanks Debi! Everything is amazingly beautiful. Yep, I was referring to the new Spring blush (I call it sunset because that is what it looks like to me LOL). It is gorgeous on -- I really love it. Such a beautiful shade with the slightest shimmer. I haven't swatched Brompton yet -- I am almost afraid to. But I will be using it soon! I think you will love Bagatelle. I have 15 or so glossimers (mostly pink) and they really are all different.

Hyde Park is...bright. VERY bright. Much brighter than I thought it would be. It's not Toxic Tale electric, but it skirts pretty close to it. For some reason it pulls blue-pink indoors, but turns a more salmon pink outside. *sigh* Not sure what to think at this point, but I'm a little disappointed. Could someone recommend a liner and/or glossimer to tone it down with perhaps? Blotting it helps somewhat.

Thank you for the free shipping code. I need to get Belgravia and Kensington before they are gone. I'm a little scared about Hyde Park because anything peachy pink usually turns orange on me. None of these are close to Joyeuse right?

QoS - That looks LOVELY on you!!! I felt the same way about HP - like it has this odd florescent undertone to it although its not really neon or overly bright - something I've not noticed in any ls. But, I love HP now by doing just a light application.
