I spoke with a MAC Artist and she told me that the Tendertones that are being released are Hush Hush, Tread Gently, Purring, and Hot n Saucy. Exciting!

That sounds amazing!! I never tried tendertones, but when I googled these they looked great! I know that they aren't super pigmented, since they are just a balm, but how does hot n saucy look on the lips because it looks like a great bright color so does it give it a little big of punch (for a balm)? also, besides that one, do you girls notice much of a difference when these are applied? I'm trying to budget a bit and if these don't look too different when on the lips I may only grab one or two (more for you girls!)

When I bought Hot N Saucy the last time it was released, it showed up as a sheer hot pink on my lips. Of course, I suppose that it would depend on the pigmentation of your lips, but I wasn't able to build up the colour to make it match the colour in the pot. Most of the swatches that I've seen on the internet have shown similar results. It was the only Tendertone that I tried so I can't tell you how the other ones looked, but if you're trying to budget, I would highly recommend that you make sure to add Hot N Saucy to your list. I really loved it! I know that Tread Gently was quite popular (maybe solely based on the uniqueness of the colour?) so you might want to consider that one as well.

Thanks! I was thinking it would show up having some pigment since it was such a bright color, so I think I'm gonna pick that one up. Tread gently looks cool, so if the quads are just meh or the kissable lip colors are mostly the ones from peacocky, I'll pick hat one up too!

You're not the only one. I have 2 tendertones and I barely touch them either. They just don't do anything special for me. I'll be skipping them for sure!

yep, same here. I bought a few in the past & I always wind up ignoring them, they don't do much for me either. I think my lips are too dry & too pigmented for them to really be effective for me which is sad cause I know so many people love them. If I get the urge to buy some I'll go pull out the few I have in a drawer & pretend they are new lol

I missed out on Exxhibitionist and So Vain and that was the one that I really wanted.
It's funny, I only went back and got So Vain after I'd got everything else that I'd wanted. Now that I have it, it's such a lovely, wearable Spring colour, it makes me wonder why I didn't get it to begin with...

I know I didn't get So Vain because I thought Exxxhibitionist was a cuter, brighter coral and figured I didn't need 2 corals. Not that I'm sorry, since Exxxhibitionist was easily my most used lip product last year. Whenever I wanted a fuss free lip, it was my #1 choice.

UGH! I have to many lipsticks now. How do you all use them up??? I can not justify buying more...but these are so pretty ~~sad~~

I've been wondering the same thing.

They last forever with me. Should I reapply l/s every hour? Any suggestions, girls?

I'm not a fan of them either. I was chatting with the manager at my store a while back about them and he said they just didn't sell there. He said he didn't really think they were all that special, pretty much just a regular lip balm.

I like the nice feel of them but find them rather messy to use.

I have my regular go to lip balm in a tube because im not a fan of balms in a pot because of my fake nails.

But after reading what I just did in here about kissables.... looks like I may get those instead of tendertones..argh colour story
