I cannot believe I can get a drugstore dupe for Pink Pigeon. That is awesome.

Yep. The shades will be very similar but I just hope the drugstore dupe isn't too much more drying. I haven't tried them on my lips yet but I'm willing to bet the WnW one isn't as smooth as the MAC one. It sounds like people are really liking the texture of these new MAC mattes.

I'm kind of kicking myself for not ordering Scarlet Ibis, but I own so many red to coral lipsticks already, that I didn't want to end up with yet another. But I have to say, Mac's new matte lipstick formulation is the bee's knees. When I got Candy Yum Yum last year, I thought that it was just a happy accident that the texture was so creamy yet opaque. After getting Party Parrot though, I am hooked on these. Maybe they should call them Matte2 to differentiate them from regular matte lipsticks.

Has anyone compared Pink Pigeon to Candy Yum-Yum or Show Orchid?
I thought that owning those two would keep me from even sort of wanting Pink Pigeon, but ...

i know what you mean. i really wanted it however i went with flamingo in the end because i knew i would wear it more often.

I agree with those that say this new matte lipstick formula is very nice. I have dry lips so I normally like to stay away from mattes but these don't dry my lips out at all.

I now no longer feel "deprived" since I didn't get Pink Pigeon; I have two of Hollywood Nights.
Also, if by some miracle Pink Pigeon is re-stocked or re-promoted, I won't throw my clicking finger out of joint, ordering one.

UPS just delivered my Apfel lippies!

Flamingo, Pink Pigeon, and Party Parrot. I can't wait to try these on my lips. Let me also say that by looking at the swatches on my hand, Pink Pigeon and Wet N Wild's new Megalast lippie in #966 Don't Blink Pink looks an awful lot alike. At least the swatches do imo. I'll have to try them on my actual lips to get a better comparison. I even looked at them in the sunlight to make sure my eyes weren't playing tricks on me. Although they're both supposed to be mattes, there could be a difference in the textures on the actual lips.

Wearing Party Parrot around my house. Trying to get used to seeing it on myself for the extra confidence. I look so silly in my sweatpants and otherwise makeup-less face! LOL Things we do to LOVE a beautiful lippie!

And UrbanSweetheart, if you like pinks, try to find #967 Dollhouse Pink too. A very pretty neon doll pink. These new WnW Megalast lippies seem to be very hard to find though. I went to at least 5 Walgreens before I found Dollhouse Pink and when I did, it was the last one.

I just found out that my Embrace Me pencil is to be delivered on Wednesday!
I'm really eager to see how it looks with my very bright lipsticks, like Candy Yum-Yum, Show Orchid, Hollywood Nights, Party Parrot, etc.

Hmm; either I clicked on the wrong one, or they really sold out that fast.
This is crazy, but I've seen it happen before.
Makes you want to fire off your order the instant a new collection is released, which MAC well knows ...
