It launched in Italy the 2nd of january and was a "sore only" collection.. no counters!!! Pay attention to the launch date, in march will launch a lot of collections!!

i am feeling this same way about Pink Pigeon. I guess I will eventually get over it but it will probably take like 4 months. that is what it took to get over missing out on Mehr, then I finally was able to purchase one that wasn't too expensive. :?/

On me, Quick Sizzle is really close to Pink Pigeon. QS is just a little bit darker. I think the ebay price for PP may drop in the next few months when the interest dies down. And I'm sure MAC will come out with lots of amazing bright pinks this year!

Scarlet Ibis looks great on you!! but your swatches make me yearn for a backup of my Pink Pigeon...*le sigh*"Coochie cutters" and "Cameltosis" just made me almost spit tea on my keyboard!!

Had some prime L.A. street fashion watching yesterday at a huge DIY fanzine/comics/art fair and yep, bright matte red lips were all over the place, usually with moderate cat eye wings. Saw a lot less coral and pink lips than I would have expected, although I did indeed spy some bright lavender lips. One gal who had a great look had a bare face except for very smudged out navy blue liner. Brows were pretty much full and darkened across the board and pretty much no blush. Overall, though, most of the gals were wearing makeup, which was a little unexpected to me - I figured there'd be more bare faces, with it being an art girl crowd, so I think we can safely say that glamor is creeping back in bit by bit.
I purposely went wearing zero makeup and I honestly felt like I stood out for it, rather than blending in with all the other gals with the bright lip/eye liner look, so that was amusing.
Tons of very short chopped bobs for hair and clothes were heavy on the late 50's look of full skirt to the knee with short cardigans or silly t-shirts. One gal had a bright yellow fanny pack that said "Pretzelicious" written in pretzel-shaped letters that I was indeed coveting

Love the sound of the looks coming through with the bright lips... Scarlett Ibis is not for the faint hearted but anyone can pull it off if they just have faith that they can rock it.
