I received my first nail polish from dior today and I freaking love it!!! I got nirvana shade and it's the exact shade of teal I was looking for.. It dries in minutes and hopefully the lasting power wouldn't let it down as I literally have just applied it...not the best brush but it went opaque from the first layer.. Love it. :eyelove:

Nirvana was also my first Dior polish! And it started my collection! I crazy like this colour, and I actually like their brush as it covers the entire nail bed.

On my nails, it lasts about 3-4 days but I usually don't get much wear of nail polishes in general. So, Dior is the longest-lasting out of what I have - Chanel, YSL and Estee Lauder. Chanel chips the next day, and YSl is a marginally better.

Winthrop, maybe you could try leaving the cap off your lipstick for a night? The scent should diffuse after a while.

I love the nail polishes, a very rosy collection, Lancôme is girly and rosy too, well rose seems to be " in vogue " ( I prefer the 2011 Garden Party though but this one is pretty too ) !

Thanks. Anneri! The twin set eyeshadow looks interesting and I hope it is functional. What is the nail glow? Is it a base coat?

Has anyone gotten the holiday quints? I took a good look at them yesterday and swatched them and was impressed.

Can anyone suggest some possible dupes for Lady lipstick? Love the color but I'm not fond of the scent.

I smelt the holiday lipsticks yesterday and I don't like the scent too. Not sure if it will dissipate on the lips.

Thanks for posting this! It kind of reminds me of the Guerlain "Pinks & Blacks" look from this Spring, but I like those shades, so I'm not complaining. I still have not bought a single Dior quint. It's not that I don't like them, it's just that they keep getting pushed down my list for some reason. Maybe this collection will change that?

Thanks Anneri, I've actually gotten used to it and don't mind it at all now, although I did do exactly what you said for several hours one afternoon so maybe that helped. Besides loving the shade, I really like how long wearing Lady is. Are there any other Dior lipsticks in the same formula or is it just the few holiday ones? Are they planning to come out with more in this formula? I like the Addict Extremes I've tried too. How are the Rouge Diors?

I'm surprised at how unimpressed I am by the new collection, although that might change once I see it in person. The Nail Glow and Reviver Gloss look nice, but mostly the latter looks like it's probably also very gimmicky and sheer. I'm intrigued by the Twin Set eyeshadows and the rose powder, though.
