It's pretty amazing! I still like my MM lippies and will be holding on to those for dear life lol Just don't want the dreaded skipper's remorse, so I will definitely be looking out for a restock. It leans more pink on me than I would like, but it's beautiful! I swatched it next to Love Goddess and there is only a slight difference. I would describe it as Ruby Woo's pink sister

LG was really really pinky red on me which i didnt like and RR is bright red. I think it also depends on the pigmentation on the lips as well. Hope you can get it! I will def be looking or restock.

yeaaa so after getting,RR, Strawberry Malt, Mall Madness and Prom Princess, I seriously want Flatter Me! Veronicas Blush made me look ashy.(as my bf totally says in the sunlight. FYI I NEED CARAMEL SUNDAE.

Ill post pics of the pink and brown color tomorrow. Stressful day today. Also.. any WOC purchase and use MAC Unconventional from TT? Im thinking of exchanging it.. Looks like a whitish purple of Veronicas Blush.

I picked some 3 lipsticks during the pre-launch event at the North Park mall: DLG, BB & RR. I am an NC50 in MAC for color reference. I paired BB with Vino lip liner just to tone it down a little. I may go back for BFS but it may be too dark for me but I'll give it a try.
Are the pearlmattes just meant to be a wash/dusting of color on the face? Or would y'all say ppl use it more as a highlight?

I don't think these Pearlmattes will be anything more than a highlighter on deeper skin. That's the impression I got after swatching Flatter Me on my hand.

I was shocked to come home to my order from NOrdies. (Nordies shipping is slow) I couldn't open it b/c my Mother is staying with me and I don't want to hear her fuss. (although she is in my house LOL).

I swatched Spoiled Rich. I'm torn. One of the colors is very similiar, a near dupe for the violet purple in shop cook. I kinda have the dark purple from the UD Smoked Quad.But the mac color looks more blackened. The charcoal color, I don't really have. I don't have an exact dupe of the other light color either. I'm sure once everything is blended out, they will look the same, but dangit it is calling me. LOL

I decided to skip the green pigment, for the ED shadow coming in April.

I have to be honest, walking up to the counter, I wasn't impressed. I'll take a look at my goodies later and decide then. I can't wait to play.

I also got two new brushes from bobbi brown. Sheer Powder which is shaped like the 165 but I don't think it is as dense.
How does the 165 compare to the Yachiyo?
I also got the full coverage brush, which is like the UD optical blurring brush, but smaller. it is as small as the Shishedo slanted brush (sorry forgot name), but round and not slanted. I can't wait to try it. The mua said it was flying off the shelves. I'm not surprised. I love the Shishedo brush, and thought the UD brush is awesome.

Oh no, is it really that bad? I already have issues with most lipsticks and glosses making my lips flake. =/

It's pretty bad... Do you have VG Nicki 1 l/s? That's the only other l/s that made my lips flake this much, so maybe if the texture of Nicki 1 worked for you, BB won't be a problem? Even if it is, I think (I hope) if you let a good conditioner soak into your lips first and then apply it, it won't be so flaky. I'm going to try that tomorrow and see how it does. Today was a Veronica day, so it's Betty's turn again tomorrow.

I'm having the same problem! I love the color but, it makes my lips look like I dragged it over a cheese grater! LOL!! I need some serious exfoliating and moisture to pull this color
off!

I'm still debating on Strawerry Malt. When it launched on the mac site I got 2 BB, 1 kiss don't tell and 1 flatter me. I then seen all the great swatches of DLG and RR and knew I had to get them. I originally had 2 DLG and RR but of course I gave my cousin and RR. What about you?

Happy store release day!!

I was at Macy's first thing when they opened and may have purchased a few more goodies.

Ended up with Prom Princess blush, Girl Next Door lipstick, Lucky in Love and Black Poodle pigments. Phew! I'm done now. Really.

While I was being helped, there was another woman there also. I pretty much got my stuff and ran, but I was listening to her tell the MA what she wanted. She got 2 each of the pearlmattes, a bunch of the nail polishes and I think like 2 each of the lipsticks. Then when the MA helping me told me about how the LIL pigment sold out at a nearby store's event last week, the woman overheard that and was like "I'll take 3 of that then. What's it for??" I wanted to turn around and ask "Selling stuff on Ebay, are you?" Geesh.

That does sound mighty suspicious. I like to imagine your story continuing like this... Her, looking confused about what pigment is for even though she just said she'll take three of them--->

Glad you at least got most of what you wanted

My trip to Nordstrom this morning was very successful. I got there a few minutes after they opened. I'm not sure if I was the first one, but I didn't see anyone else when I got there. I got everything I needed for my CP. A woman came up while the MUA was getting my products together and asked about Boyfriend Stealer and Daddy's Little Girl. They haven't received their inventory for Boyfriend Stealer yet and Daddy's Little Girl Sold out. I got the last one. There's a MAC store at the same mall and she went there first, but they had already sold out of things. Keep in mind that the mall opens at 10am and it was 10:05am at this point. Neither the Nordstrom or the MAC store did preorders, so stuff must have sold out insanely fast. Only a few other people came in to buy stuff while I was still there, and I heard MUAs taking store orders over the phone. Everything was pretty relaxed. I'm sure the frenzy picked up after I left.

I swatched some things for myself while the MUA was getting the items from my CP list. I tried Flatter Me Pearlmatte and it is pretty, but I didn't feel the urge to buy it. It was just "nice" on me. I don't know why I didn't swatch Veronica's Blush. I also didn't swatch the Spoiled Rich quad, but I did swatch Caramel Sundae. I think I was standing closer to Betty's side of the display now that I think about it. I'm really tempted by Caramel Sundae. I didn't touch the lipglasses or blushes at all.

I left the store empty handed without anything for myself. I signed up for an event next week, and will check out Boyfriend Stealer then. I may get Boyfriend Stealer and the Caramel Sundae quad if I'm still lemming for it by then.

I'm proud of myself! I'm getting some self-control back. Just don't go over to see what I'm doing in the Nail Polish thread...
