It does make sense that they would be able to keep stock in a few items longer than regular counters. The only problem is, the only counter I know is at London's Heathrow Airport and I haven't been through there in ages, long before any MAC obsession. I try to tell my mum to grab me something since she occasionally goes through there, but her excuse is the she's always flying out of the wrong terminal.:bigthumb: ....this is awesome! Seems that airport counters have a very nice selection.Unfortunatly I have never been to one :sigh:
me too! already got compliments!!wearing flamingo to work today. super pretty!

oh shit that's what I like to hear.me too! already got compliments!!
This was at Stansted airport. I knew there was one as I had noticed it before I got into MAC. My mum grabbed me a 178 brush last time she was there, much cheaper than spain!!It does make sense that they would be able to keep stock in a few items longer than regular counters. <- no way you end up like this
Thanks! Enjoy your new goodies.Whew! I just read close to 300 posts, so i can't post individually to everyone about how lovely you all look in your lipsticks and blushes. But i will say that you all inspired me to buy Flamingo and Sweet & Sour lipsticks and Royal Sunset and Immortal Flower blushes. And i normally avoid oranges. Flamingo and Royal Sunset were safest for me because even though both on me are quite coral, they have a pink cast that i can wear. And on me they are great together. I can even throw Flamingo on when i don't have on much other makeup. It seems to be a stronger color and less pink on me than on some other people here - might be because of the contrast between it and my blue-ish lips. I was nervous about Sweet & Sour. It is oranger than i usually wear, but it is not heavy looking like a deep orange would be, so i figured i'd take the risk. When i put it on at home this morning i could see it was rather light, reminding me of late 1960s pale lipsticks. I may need to find a liner for it, although there may be one in my meager collection of lip liners - i'm thinking probably something a bit tan. I do have to wear at least tinted moisturizer and a little powder with it to tone down my pink cheeks or i look weird, and in a weird way... I smeared it a little with my finger and it looked better. Also, on me it goes perfectly with Immortal Flower. I did a nude-ish eye, using both my TR Powerchrome pencils, Rich Glance and Copper Strip, with some matte Orb in the crease and a darker copper brown liner. So you are all so beautiful, you've pushed me out of my box. Thanks!:bouquet:
Thank you so much!!!:thud: .....ladies, you are all rocking this collection :eyelove: :eyelove: :eyelove: Addict4Mac, that is a very nice haul and the lipsticks look awesome on you!Beautiful, just BEAUTIFUL, That1980sGirl :bigheart:Gorgeous, purplevines SK and IF look lovely together!!! And I agree with Erine....your brows
Flamingo is beautiful on you!
in the house I paired sk with ablaze liner, I also after going back in forth gave away pd, it just didn't make sense to keep it, even with a liner, I was like no. Sk will prob like great with any dazzlegloss, they usually neutralize anything.I got my All About Orange stuff yesterday! My favorites hands down are Tart & Trendy and Tangerine Dream. I don't need lip pencils with them. They seem to brighten up my face. I'm thinking it's because my complexion is more yellow toned. I'm glad I bought BUs.
Flamingo is only "nice" on me. I don't need a liner with it, but it doesn't do anything special for my lips. It's just nice. I'm disappointed! I bought a BU, but I don't need it. It will be going in my sale.
I love the color of Sushi Kiss. I do need a lip pencil to blend it better with my skin tone, but I don't mind because I really like the color. I played with various pencils, but I like using a brown pencil close to my skin tone best. For me that's MAC Cork/NYX Toast. I'm undecided about keeping my BU for it. I'm leaning towards keeping it because I love the color. But I'm not sure how often I will wear it since it's on the lighter side of my lipstick spectrum. I tend to wear bold colors more often.
Sweet & Sour maybe returned. It's Ashcake Ashly. I can make it work with a liner, but I don't think I want to put forth the effort. I think I may also feel the same way about Raspberry Swirl and Pure Decoration. I'm learning that I don't think I want to bother with milky colors.
Hey birthday twin! Wait, that should be triplet. Lol! I wore peach on my birthday too. I love all 3 lipsticks.
I love our OT conversations though. Keeps it fun.
Rec'd my order today and had no idea what I'd ordered from Nordstrom. Clearly it's time to quit.Neon Orange is my favorite, but then I got sad when my daughter said it looked red on us. I was wanting it to be orange. Any recommendations for something less red. Next Tart & Trendy was my second fave. Very flattering shade of orange for WOC me thinks. Flamingo is my 3rd fave. My daughter said it looked boring on me and I paid too much. (She's such a brat.) It's very wearable due to being a sheer formula. Sushi Kiss was my final lippie and ehhh I'm looking like CartoonChic's friend Tyrone Biggums. It's quite milky. Any lip liner or gloss recommendations?
Thanks butterflyeyes!Gorgeous!
I did too!! lol we really are triplets lolHey birthday twin! Wait, that should be triplet. Lol! I wore peach on my birthday too. I love all 3 lipsticks.
Good to hear your thoughts. I think we had similar thoughts on the lipsticks. I may just try that Cork liner.I got my All About Orange stuff yesterday! I didn't even open it yet. I'll probably do a look with it when I do open it.
