I'm at work so I couldn't read the whole thread but read a few. I got a email saying my order has been shipped.....is mac really sending those emails & then canceling??? Seriously for as long as we waited just to get the order in I think we should get our stuff, this wasn't free....we're paying money. I think after this whole ordeal I'm staying away from mac for a while.

So, like a pathetic girlfriend in those Hallmark movies, I called MAC CS again to ask why. Why did they cancel 1 post-launch order and the other post-launch order now says "shipped?" I said, "I have been a customer of MAC Online for 10 years. I would hate to walk away without having received a proper explanation." (Saying this as a grown-ass woman is really hard to do.) The CS rep said because I had placed lipstick orders before noon (all of which got cancelled), the MAC online ordering system tallied 4 SKUs for each lipstick for my account. She said that the CS rep that suggested I place another order (to get backordered lipsticks) was WRONG because today's "make-up" order would have been cancelled, too, automatically. Someone will call me back to tell me what will happen next. That "SKUs" explanation sits better with me than "MAC is teaching you a lesson on fairness, Spektrette," or "Your bank/the universe screwed you, not MAC" explanation from earlier this morning. So, to those whose post-launch orders were unfairly cancelled, call and ask if your order got cancelled because of their SKU-reading issue. They MAY try to manually fix your order problems. I sure hope they make things right.

My order of 1 RRBoy & 1 Heaux - RRB is shipping, Heaux got backordered ???????? yep Heaux was NOT in backorder status when I ordered it with RRB:eek: CS best be looking in every nook & cranny in their warehouse for my order before they call me back in 2 days :p
That's what I don't understand too! Those of us that got our orders in before they became back ordered are getting screwed, Yet they are canceling orders left and right! Did they oversell or what?

Oh yay I just got a backorder notification. So it wasn't backordered when my order was placed but now they decided I don't get my order. Is anybody at that company going to face any consequences whatsoever over how badly this was all handled? Truly, F%$K.YOU.MAC. I want to cancel the whole thing. I didn't really want another woo except that I couldn't delete it. Now I'm paying for that but don't get my other $hit? This comic is brilliant.

See this also doesn't sit well with me because how come some of my orders went through and others didn't. I placed a pre noon order and would've hit my limit with just one more order.... Yet only 1 post noon order got cancelled. They have a whole "order review team" so somebody slacked it on their job...

I was a little sad about this bronzer/blush duo being sold out and them canceling my post-noon order for it. I bought multiple orders but I told my mom and BFF, I'd get theirs. However, I think I'm going to splurge and get the dior bronzer/blush duo. The quality looks amazingggg and common....dior is soooo luxurious looking!!!
I've been eyeing the same exact one! I hope MAC refunds me soon so I can get the dior duo

Just checked my order status and one of my post launch orders says shipped and has a tracking number but UPS says >>> UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Please verify your information and try again later. I haven't gotten a shipping email yet so we'll see if it actually gets here. Hopefully the MAC gangster posse won't jump out at my front door and intercept the package as it is being delivered.

haha...gave me a funny visual. The UPS guy shows up with your little black box, hands it to you, then rips it back out of your hands & speeds away in his truck...kinda like ordering yesterday

Or a mini tug-of-war accompanied by a stare-down contest. Truth be told, if that were to happen to me, I would be tempted to hold on long enough to swiftly kick him in the balls and then quickly dart inside. #hiyah!

The way she explained it to me was (for example): Pre-noon orders - 3 Heauxs total (all cancelled) Post-noon orders- 1 Heaux (shipped) 1 Heaux (cancelled bc it's Heaux #5) If your pre-noon orders got honored, consider yourself lucky... Sigh. If you were able to order multiple RRBs in one order, you are lucky as hell. If you are Canadian, I am envying you hard for your good health care and low gun violence AND your nice MAC CS! LOL.

I just called & got through right away, the rep said that the lipsticks were not coming back in the fall. I said to cancel anyway (because I'm f*cking pissed at the whole thing). She said the woo would ship and I said I don't want it,. I want to cancel the whole thing. She said she couldn't guarantee that it wouldn't ship but I could refuse the package. I really hope they don't ship it. I just want the whole thing canceled. It was still "pending" so they really have no excuse not to be able to cancel it. They canceled everybody else's orders forcibly, why not this one voluntarily?

So about the lipsticks not coming back in fall, who knows if it's true or not? MAC CS is full of lies and misinformation.

That's what I'm saying though, I had ordered 4 heauxs (lol I still giggle when I see that) pre noon, they got cancelled... Ordered three orders after noon and only one got canceled. That would've been 7. So I think somebody has to manually go in and review these and that somebody wasn't doing a good job yesterday.

Did u get your money back yet for your cancel items.mac still has my money
They still have mine too for 2 of my cancelled orders. I called and asked them how long it would be before they refunded, and they said 2-3 business days. I used my PayPal acct so I'm not sure how long it will really take.
