Well my 1 and only order has shipped, 1 RRW and 1 heaux, but with all this nonsense going on I won't feel safe till my lippies are in hand. I am so sorry for everyone who's orders got cancelled, this launch was total chaos. I wish i had the strength to boycott with you but i'm weak lol. i hope MAC does something to apologize to all their loyal customers

I would have never guessed a 21 year old either! But that's something amazing about specktra. I've never seen such a wide age range get along so nicely. On other sites its usually young against older or regions like US vs CA vs European countries Especially on the pregnancy forums...yikes lol

I just got off the phone with a rep and she said the reason for the cancellations was that there was a problem with PayPal credit card payment.  Ummm, noooo - I paid using my PayPal balance so it was pretty much a cash transaction.  She advised me that if the payments were canceled, that PayPal did so and that I should speak to them.  I kept her on the phone while I went into those transactions and PayPal noted that the seller canceled the payment.  I hope that will help my case  in getting these orders reinstated somehow - I won't hold my breath though.  There's nothing she could do tonight, so I'm going to call in the morning when a supervisor is available.  I stayed on the phone while she made the notes of our conversation on those orders so that there was at least a written record the supervisor could reference when I call back.

Cranky edit: Just noticed the confirmation I received was for my illegal order that I had already received a confirmation for yesterday. My "legit" order hasn't moved. I'll be calling tomorrow.

Mine is exactly the same! My "illegal" order is delivered and my legit one is still pending. But also, I didn't get my shipping notification for the illegal order until hours after it was delivered!

Good for you, demanding an answer! re: your payment was the problem. LOL -- A CS rep told me that my bank was responsible for my second post-launch order getting cancelled. I said, "Really? How?" She said the bank had a "disconnect" with MAC. I told her that my bank seemed to be holding the money very nicely for MAC. Then she said the bank must have cancelled my order bc they thought my purchase was fraud. I said, "Wow. Really? I buy from MAC Online at least once a month." Then she said, "Umm, ok, don't quote me about the bank to the bank." I was feeling all sorry for CS reps but now I see they have standard excuses: 1) you had too many Riri SKUs associated with your account; 2) Your payment/bank had an issue. Thanks to members here posting, it's clear we are in the camp of people whose orders got cancelled so MAC can tell people they're being fair. In my Gordon Ramsay voice, I want to say, "MAC, you're pathetic!"

I'm glad I asked...on T they look like an orange red... which really, really isn't my thing.  I'm a blue red l/s girl all the way.  Maybe it's just my monitor.

T's RRW swatches do look orange red, but RRW is very much a more blue Ruby Woo. It's beautiful but prep your lips!

too many pages to read again... not playing ketchup

So I think the last post I read was about the LE thing and still available on website so yeah it is constant constant issue. I get my perfume from a niche company and they do LE scents as in you can buy for these 3-5 days online {the lunar blends} to you can buy for 3-4 months {holiday blends} which is how I think of LE items. Mac is just crazy with it's we only made X amount and if it is gone in 5 minutes boo hoo to you. It is like we are supposed to believe they lost the color formula and they can't make more. Churn out that lipstick for how ever many orders come in over a set period of time and that would take care of the ebay scalpers, the website crashing, and the peeps getting upset because their orders they made an hour into update got backordered or cancelled.

permanent items, imo, are available pretty much whenever you want them so having a set window in which to buy something automatically makes it le. This mystery amount of stuff you have to go nuts trying to pick up is beyond stupid.
