The Rihanna collection was "
special", as in really especially f^<@d up.
I've ordered far too much from LE collections and while there's often crazy late night stalking waiting for the collection to release, there usually are not all the stupid unbelievable problems. Usually it's just MAC fans, but with this collection it added all the Rihanna fans who don't normally shop MAC. And i think MAC was not prepared in multiple ways, not in how their website was set up, not in how much product they actually had available, and not on the shipping end.
And need we say anything more about Customer "service". I do not envy the MAC CS people because their ears must have been spontaneously combusting because of all the problems, which were not their fault, but they were badly informed and, i would say, trained.
Normally dealing with MAC is pretty, well, normal. It's not usually this screwed up.
