So I got LOTS at the FP & MN launches at Nordstrom & this is probably not terribly helpful without pics, and someone has probably already talked about it, but I've just gotten a chance to try these & I'm in love, so I'm posting my devotion!
From the Magnetic Nude collection, I picked up:
Carnal Instinct Lipstick
Hell Bound Lipglass
Autoerotique Blush
Magnetic Appeal EDSF
And I am so happy with all of it!! For reference, I'm an NC45/NW40.
Carnal Instinct is sooo creamy. I wanted to rub it all over my lips all the time. Its brickiness is really absorbed by the brown in my pigmented lips, so it ends up reading slightly less brown and a bit more red on my lips, but not so much that it LOOKS RED on. It's obviously red, but not slap-you-in-the-face red, and it makes me happy. It feels good on the lips, and is so fall appropriate that I know I'll get tons of wear out of this one.
Hell Bound looked different in the tube, but is basically Carnal Instinct turned up a notch in terms of shimmer & in lipglass form. It's super pigmented and nice & thick. It had the same creamy, slather-me-on-please texture that I know will end up with me burning through it.
Autoerotique. My darling. There was talk about this one being a toned down version of Flaming Chic, and I guess it can be described that way. If Flaming Chic were turned down from a hot pink, to the same color in medium pink, it would be Autoerotique. AE is SUPER wearable pink, and I can see it being a really useful blush in my collection. My other similarly toned pinks have lots of gold shimmer to them, and AE doesn't, so it's a real win. I could not be happier about this blush.
Magnetic Appeal was everything I wanted it to be. That being said, it's not super noticeable on my skintone, but I wanted something that I could use to add some light & reflection to my face & other blushes without lots of extra color. Lightly applied, it almost matches my skin exactly to give me a natural glow, but it's super buildable, and I think it could still work as a bronzer/nude blush. The shimmer doesn't amplify pores at all, it's just a pretty golden touch.

And I literally read through so many pages about this collection I would love to see more of the blush swatches though! MAC needs to hurry and just make it available. Im NC45 and this is exactly what I wanted to hear!!! I already have Gold Deposit, so I was looking for something subtle that just melts right into the skin. MA is going to be super gorgeous in the summer time. I see you're an Austinite too
