I swear
Erin needs her own "
Ask Erin" thread because if I hadn't come in here I would have missed this contouring "tutorial" from our resident makeup guru. You are THE best! I've been contouring and I'm pretty sure I have the technique down, but it never seems to show up on me. Like all of my work kind of disappears once I add my setting powder, and it looks like I haven't done any contouring at all. I feel like I spend all of that time doing it only for it to just disappear. Erin how can I get my contouring to not disappear?
What am I doing wrong? I too am an NC50 for reference. I use the Sleek Face Form in dark, not just a matte blush, so I'm using a powder meant for contouring. I know you're a mac girl, so here's a link to what I'm talking about just so you can see it:
http://www.sleekmakeup.com/face-form-contour-dark Should I set my foundation, THEN contour? And so as not to hijack the thread, lemme get back to why I came here... . I used MA today, just to test it out. I loved the glow it gave my cheekbones, but since I had someone waiting on me, I needed to hurry the heck up, so I wasn't able to really build it to see what it could really do. I also didn't like the brush I used to apply it. My 128 brush is sitting in the mailroom at my job, I'll get it on Monday. I didn't even get a chance to take a picture, I was being RUSHED!
