But seriously, when you're looking to do a "villian" makeup look for a costume, who thinks "hey, maybe I'll make a versatile neutral smokey eye!"? With a collection that had the potential to be so different and fun and ethereal, this seems so half-assed. :/

They are unique in what they do and have been. If they were trying to be more "classic" they might as well call themselves estee lauder and drop the name. i dont see them wanting to change there image. they are world famous and i know that they bank lol

How are they trying to attract the younger clientele with a price hike to go with it??? Doesn't make any sense. If they want to bring in the young'uns as customers, they could at least bring the price down slightly (£2.50 approx on products less than £20) or have some sort of student discount (10%) I know that would go down a treat in the UK, as I know quite a few students that love MAC but hate the prices. Especially my baby sister, who nicked my Ruby Woo lipstick Christmas time

i always drooled over the mac counter when i was younger, but til i started making better money i couldnt afford it. I was 21 when i was finally able to indulge more. I think NYX is going for younger ppl than mac.

I agree.  The colors accurately reflect Angelina Jolie's actual makeup in the movie.  Still, it wouldn't have killed them to toss in more lip colors, blushes, and eyeshadows.  For example, this poster shows Angelina Jolie with what seems like purple eyeshadow?  They could've added some green and purple eyeshadows... a purplish blush... a purple lipstick... 1 or 2 more sculpting powders (to suit more skintones).  They would all fit Maleficent perfectly.    

You know what, where is this purplish color on her brow bone???? . It's pretty, prob something perm too. I can't wait for face charts to find out. I wish it was in the collections.

smh, i logged back in to see if any updates and im in disappointment city. the vv collection was so pretty, fun, sexy, etc......this is basic at best. wings mac? wings? even when she turned into the dragon she still had HORNS!!!!!!! i'm done with the red lipsticks and nothing else is holding me. i like it but i really was expecting more for this. le sigh!

Let us have a look at the OLD Maleficent products from 2010 Venomous Villains, I hope hope hope this collection will be equally purple. We especially need more purple lippies Wouldnt it be a bummer if they just repromoted all of these though? Lets hope for something new.

I followed somebody in here and all I can say is disappoint. The nail polish is the same from MM collection and I am not feeling the lipsticks. I have several MM beauty powders so I don't need another

I would have bought it just for the packaging... Both the lipsticks and lipglasses, Briar Rose and Bad Fairy. With what they are releasing though, they are lucky if I get the lipstick and beauty powder.
