I just got my Ambient Lighting Powder Palette. Sephora shipped it in a bubble mailer and the corner of the packaging is a little banged up. I don't understand why they would ship a $60 palette so poorly cushioned -- literally everything I've ever ordered from them has been shipped in a box. I was so angry when I checked my mail just now...
At least the powders are intact and fingerprint-free. There was a random powdery smudge on the outside of case which was weird.

That is so strange to see Sephora mailing stuff in bubble envelopes because like you said, everything always comes shipped in a box. I've always thought they needed to start using something a little less wasteful. I hate opening up a giant box and having to dig through a ton of tissue paper to get a tiny tube of lipstick. I hope they don't start doing that for everything though because palettes and things that can easily break need actually need to be in their usual box full of paper.

Agreed. An envelope is fine for lipstick, but pressed powder products need lots of cushioning. I'm always annoyed when Nordstrom, Ulta, Shu Uemura toss eyeshadows, blushes, etc, in a box with some loose paper so they flop all around during shipping. I've returned so many broken items. Shouldn't they know better by now? I really hope Sephora doesn't take that route.

No, it was only the box that got banged up. There were tons of scratches on the case though and one of the powders got dislodged, which I hadn't noticed when I originally posted.

I bought another of the deconstructed rose lipsticks (even though I hate the smell/taste) - I got the red one, Grandifolia. I didn't realize they were LE when I bought the first one.

I just (hesitantly because of your smell/taste posts) ordered Centifolia and Damask.I wonder how similar Grandifolia is to Mangrove (which I'm still waiting on Macy's to deliver). My wannabe low-buy has me comparing anything and everything before I hit checkout.

Centifolia was sold out the other day, then came back in stock. I hope you love them.From the swatches I've seen Grandifolia is going to be more of a rich blue red, whereas Mangrove has the bit of an orange base. I think they'll be different.
When are you supposed to get your Mangrove? Let me know what you think when you get everything!

So...I got 2 of the little pearl Meteorites samples & fell in love with them. I just got a Nordies note today, so I ordered the full size from there. It was sold out the last time I checked Sephora.
I love how they look on skin with no makeup & over mu. Just beautiful. I also really really love how they look dusted over the decollete - so soft & pretty

i want to love it, i just can not get past the scent. ever since pregnancy with my daughter i'm very sensitive to very potent smells. they are so super cute and pretty though

I couldn't even stand the smell of the oven warming up etc.These don't effect me for some reason.

i'm thinking this tiny sample would last forever, yet so awesome for traveling. i'm going to try them again on just the decollete but i am always holding my baby so unsure when i could where them.
