It does go away after a bit thank heavens! The formula is great, but the smell (imo) is atrocious. 

What do they smell like ? I don't own any melt lipsticks.

To me it smells like some kinda sickly sweet version of OFF repellent or something. Some people say it smells like cake or candy, but to me it smells like a weird version of OFF. The good thing is though that it isn't really strong and it goes away after a bit so I'm willing to put up with it.

I have both DGAF and Blow and I like DGAF, but I LOVE Blow! I was worried at first about wearing green, but I loves it!

I HATE how Maybelline and Milani lipsticks smell! I've gotten rid of all of mine due to it even. I think I put up with the Melt smell because 1) The formula is so great 2) The colours are unique and 3) The price. lol

Old or new Milani? The old ones gave me a headache instantly, but the new ones are ok. It's more of a fruity smell and I think the old ones had a floral scent.

For me it's the newer ones from like the last year, that odd fruity smell is icky to me.

I like their shades, but that smell is just bad. Same with L'Oreal lipsticks, Milani (as mentioned above), and there are a few others that I can't think of right now. Surprisingly, Maybelline, Revlon, WnW and Cover Girl don't bother my nose as much.

I have never bought from Kate von D. How are her lippies? I may have to cave and get that lavender one, if it comes out as a true lavender.
