Just called about the overnight shipping code after they sent the email and asked if I could apply it now, they said they would email and I'll see later if it actually happens. It's fine with me honestly. And I'm not too worried about mixups. The blush descriptions were never mixed up for me and I wanted Peaches & Cream anyway if a mix up happens. Whichever I get I'll buy the other off Nordstrom. As long as there are no lipstick mixups I'm good.

I have pics of the blushes but the lighting was off so they look much lighter than the really are so I didn't bother to post them. Another pic of DG

Of course I realize the millions of sales however if items consistently sell out nearly immediately at launch they're not making enough. I don't expect MAC to make more to make me happy as I said didn't mean it as a slam of the company however I'm sure they're aware of items that will be super popular long before production and wonder if they intentionally make short quantities to add to the hype. I've never complained about finding something at a CCO - I'm sure MAC is still making money even if a few strays wind up there. One of the differences its seems to me is the pro-discount. When collections aren't including that discount things don't sell out immediately however for these two launches pro discount is applied, and viola items sold out. Again I wasn't trying to start a debate about production, just making an observation about supply. Honestly if I don't get items I wanted, take it as a sign didn't need them anyway so NOT COMPLAINING about MAC, just a thought.
No, I feel the same. The company knows exactly what it's doing. It's because they want the customers who got the LE products feel special that they have it. However, it would be more wise for sales purposes to make online stock bigger. My boyfriend complains about the LE stock all the time. He says that it's stupid that people have to wait hours before a collection releases to get why you want. He also thinks it's stupid that things sell out online so fast. Don't worry I've thought about this before too.

I see it from both sides but I agree that they definitely do know what they're doing. It's all about the $$money$$ to them and creating demand. That's the only reason I think they allow ebayers to coexist with them.

I didn't take it as a complaint, LOL I was just making commentary about the topic because it's a hot one on Facebook as well. Btw I do understand what you're talking about with the pro discount access, but remember they pay for that early access so again I have to say, what's the solution? Lol
