Sorry about your delay! The Chanel highlighter would have tied you over until tomorrow but it seems you have a lot to look forward to.
Case in point:

I can't wait! She said they should be getting it next week. I ended up buying one of Bobbi Brown's new lipsticks from the "Scotch on the Rocks" Holiday collection. I find it impossible to leave the mall without a purchase. Once I get my hands on Platine and Dior's new lipstick duos, I need to put myself on a buying ban for a while.

It's going to feel like forever until my balls come tomorrow night!

Neither Ommorphia or Christine mentioned anything specifically about it being geared towards a night look, did they? I'd like to hear your thoughts when you get them

No, they didn't mention it. Both just said it was a warm version of the meteorites but could work on cool tones when applied lightly. Warm I like - but I don't want it to look like bronzer. So I feel like I just need to see more swatches of it before I can decide. I was about to get #4 Dore when I heard this was coming out so I've been waiting. I mainly picked Dore because the others looked way too white for my warm complexion and Dore looked the warmest of what was available. But even then I was questioning whether that was the right way to choose or whether I should choose based on ball color (for example the lighter ones have more green balls which are supposed to reduce redness which I could frankly also use in some spots). But then I've heard more than one person say these powders don't really look dramatically different so it's not the kind of thing where you'd collect every one. So that's why I'm trying to pick just one that will work best for every day. Not only on nights at the opera LOL.

Well that's what I was wondering too. First I thought maybe there's not actually much difference but they're just trying to make it sound more holiday appropriate. But then I thought, well what if it IS more sparkly and best suited for nights out/special occasions? So since I can't play with it in person I'm sitting here overanalyzing the balls!!

I understand completely. It's not cheap and I can't see these in person either so I have been reading reviews and looking at photos. So. Many. Photos. lol
I was interested in Dore as well.
I do hope more pics and reviews come out so you can decide for certain.
We should definitely be seeing more pics here soon and I'll try to add mine if my phone's camera allows

Glad I'm not the only one stalking every social media site for swatches! It is a luxury purchase and I do try to do my research beforehand since I can't see them first hand ... don't get me wrong there's nothing wrong with a "special occasion" version of meteorites or anything. It's just not what I'm looking for at the moment. So yeah, I suppose in the process of "researching" I become more of an expert on some products than I ever intended to be!

I'll definitely report back whenever I get my balls ;-) Can't wait to see what you decide on!

I'm getting rid of something else and making room in my budget for both just in case lol in case of what I don't know
I have a friend who benefits from my makeup purchases as well and I love sharing new things with her.

That sounds awesome I need to make a friend like that LOL! I can't even make room in my budget. As soon as I let something go another 5 things are released and go into my must-have category!

Very pretty! I'm surprised Guerlain doesn't have a system in place to ensure a balance of balls. What are you first impressions of it? Is it more glittery than the usual ones?
Tell me about it. I feel like I have very few balls in this one compared to my other ones.

It's not more glittery than the other ones at all! In sunlight, I don't see any obvious big flecks, just the usual shimmer/glow that the balls give me. Because I'm pale, it does add a little bit of warmth to my skin, but it's hardly noticeable. It's more of a natural warmth than the orange/bronze color I get from the Pucci one.

I will say the red balls are really pigmented. I concentrated a denser blush brush on one of them and was able to tint my cheeks a rosy color. I can see why they opted not to add to many of these ones in because it'd be way too rosy to wear as an all over powder.

So jealous of everyone who got their balls today! My shipment was delayed so I am sitting at home ball-less. I went to my local Chanel counter to pick up the holiday highlighter... and after making me fall in love with it, the SA told me they didn't even get the shipment in!! They only had the display one. Booooooooo. So I guess I'll be getting that next week. She's going to hold one for me.

I'm so antsy for my balls to come in the mail-- I just wanna play with them already.

You had a bad day!! Delayed balls and a Chanel tease...no good

Hoping you get to play with your balls tomorrow and share them with the rest of us! ;-)

Well I am very glad to hear it's not more glittery. Temptalia's swatch had some glitter (I know she had a preponderance of copper balls) so I was a little worried about that. Interesting about the rose balls. If you're fair and can wear it without it looking like a bronzer, that's a good sign. But then again you got a lot of pink and red balls as opposed to copper balls. I don't love the fact that there's so much variation in the the number of balls in each container. But as long as this isn't super sparkly or super bronzey I think I may go for it over #4 Dore.

I don't see any copper colored balls. I stood in the waning sun and shade, and to my eyes, there are light golden bronze ones, champagne balls, light pink balls, and the rose balls. When I think of copper, I think of a colour with a lot more red, like a penny. Edit... Yeah, I guess some of them could be considered copper. They're not strong in pigmentation though. It's really hard to tell what colors actually are in the mix because there is some residual powder that is on all of them. No broken balls, but there is a bit of loose powder.
