Have you had a chance to try Lavender Jade on the lips yet? The one thing that drives me insane about DG is that it has a weird reaction on my lips and stains them so bright pink, the whole lipstick color shifts to pink and has to be reapplied frequently just to keep the purple going. If LJ is better behaved, that'd be a big relief.

Well that's a pass for me. I have (2) Dodgy Girl l/s. I do not need a third. Thanks Erine!  On another note-- I do want the BP but I love my Hourglass Powders so much that I just feel nothing can compare to them so I don't bother with MAC highlighters or beauty powders lol. It's silly but the Hourglass powders are HG status for me, so I'm just grabbing the (3) other lipsticks and a nail polish from this collection.

I didn't buy LJ when it leaked the first time. But DG stains my lips bright pink too, and has a slight pink undertone as well. I sold all my BUs and only kept the one tube because of it. I was wanting a true lavender, and that slight pink kind of turned my off of it a bit. . Short of patting a matte lavender shadow on top, i just dunno :shrugs:

It went pink on me as well and left that bright pink stain.

Credit to BubblyMichelle. I feel like they are heavilly swatched. I love the colour on the first pic but I'm not impressed by the swatches on her hand. The colours look so sheer.

Pros: Good for traveling, because you can get many different day to night looks, they can be sheer or more opaque if you apply them over a good base Cons: The individual colors are always in those skinny strips which makes getting the color onto some brushes a little fussy. I prefer to apply them with those silicon applicators, though, like I use for Pressed Pigments.  Me too! But you can definitely play around with sheerness levels too

How close is Lavender Jade to Dodgy Girl? I have Dodgy Girl and it's the only thing that's stopping me from buying Lavender Jade.

That's what i like to know. I'd also like to see RiRi Boy swatched next to LJ and DG.

I'm thinking it'll be nothing like RRB. It looks more along the lines of Dodgy Girl so more pinky lavender than RRB. RRB on me was identical to Up the Amp just a different finish.

I've worn DG over OCC Pool Boy pencil and it takes the pink out and makes a beautiful lavender. Kinda fussy to fool with but pretty result.

I've only worn DG twice and both times, it looked like I was wearing LW... But with a matte finish. I was expecting a purple
