Amen. I am so sick and tired of Mac playing this cat and mouse game with their LE collections, few products last beyond the first hour. It is soooo old and frustrating. And to make matters worse they do this by design. It's shameful. I don't care what anyone says, Mac likes to take its customers and fans for granted. Since Mac is owned by THE largest makeup company in the world they should be a well oiled machine and they are not. They get folks excited about a new LE collection only to tease us and piss people,off in the end because they did not produce enough makeup to last at least a week. &$%#.

Thing is, they are capable of telling you a launch date. They did it will all the RiRi collections, granted that waiting room was a beast of a different power. I think by now they should know what is going to be popular. They send out things to bloggers. I'm sure they have forensic analysts who track the posts and popularity etc. It's not that difficult to meet customer demand.

my local MAC counter is not that busy I will just go and get them on the release date when the store opens that morning I never have an issue when I do that.

No it's not. Don't forget Estée Lauder has been doing this for a very long time. They know how to time the trains with precision. When you hear that stores may only get three of one color you have to concede that Mac does this,on purpose. It's one of the worst business plans I've ever heard of.

I'm sure they are. I feel for the poor girls who work and MAC and can't even save one for themselves instore and have to watch item after item sell out.

careful with this one- i'm in the same state, my mall (rockaway) didn't even HAVE dodgy girl during the osbournes- they got 3, and for some reason, the girls who worked at bare minerals were able to get them reserved?? idk man, i was annoyed.... i called every other mac in nj- from short hills alll the way down to hamilton near ac and they had all sold out within 15 mins of the launch.

a macys mac in PA shipped it to me.

yeah, that one generally isn't AS busy! i went to school right there, so thats actually where i bought heatherette like 8000 years ago.... i guess that means i was also in school like 8000 years ago lolol.
they used to have a mac store closeish (pier mall) but it closed

as a matter of fact they still had toledo stuff this weekend. But I know this launch and Cinderella will be popular so I will be at the door, luckily I work in that mall in a cosmetic dept for another store so all the girls know me cuz we all are under Estee

Just asked my MAC girl who works n Nordies about this of course this is her day off when I need info!! But she said MAC always changes things so she'll c what's up 1st thing n the am when she goes in! I really hope so I just chatted with a person on mac.com and they said they have No info yet but when I asked yesterday they said next week so I don't wanna miss it while they playin games with these dates lol

I'm really dreading going in store to get the items i want because it's the only mac counter at a macys, and im assuming it'll launch the same date as cinder hits counters so i know it's going to be chaotic. I get anxious when i see large crowds of collection hungry people :-(

SAME- when i went in store for osbournes, NO ONE was nice. i generally have a lot of anxiety around crowds, so it was AWFUL

Still March 3rd for MAC online... March 2nd for Nordies and Macy's online... and March 5th in stores.

Does Macy's also tend to restock at midnight? Also, based on what I read previously Nordies is midnight Pacific time?

Something just occurred to me. Maybe they pushed back the launch because of the last min decision to stock Nordstrom. They probably needed more time to get more stock since it's now a wider distribution. Just speculating here.
