I like MAC's Prep + Prime Lip but the packaging is %!*&?#@ TERRIBLE!!!!!!! It always breaks no matter how careful you are and the slanted tip just kills me. Totally inefficient way to package a lip product. I just finished one and dug out the rest of the product from the base and stuck it in a little empty tester pot from Sephora. I will get every last bleeding red cent out of that product.

I'm a nail polish hoarder . Basecoat the hydrating one from Deborah Lippmann is good . Butter i use their nail foundation is a bit opaque so helps with polishes that are a bit sheer . as for top coat i have tried i think all of them and my holy grail is HK Girl from Glisten&Glow ( only can get by ordering online trough their website) . It has changed my nail polish life nails are dry extremely fast even faster than Seche Vite and best of all no shrinkage of the nail polish

Me too and I don't use them. I have the current stuff on a shelf then another stash put away somewhere. I do the nail polish strips the most now, Sally Hansen, Nordstrom and I bought Kiko's to try soon. A lot more feasible when you have kids and zero time. LOL! I can't sit around applying and drying nail polish like I used to.

There is a dupe! And it won't smell like melted crayons!Yeah it's coming up sold out for me it's cool though. There's a dupe more than likely.
MAC's base and top coats are made to empand with the nail in water to help prevent chipping.
That's the nature of the beast with skinny sticks. They all break. Same thing happened with the shadesticks. And it'll always happen with skinny stick products unfortunately. But they still work until you get down to the the little nub.

Love NYX. And a lot of the times their colors are out before MAC's. So it's like MAC is copying them, lol. Love their Intense Butter Glosses!

Yeah, unfortunately that is so true. I just think it's a shitty way to package it, especially for $19 cdn. The product works just fine for me otherwise, even in its remaining depotted and smushed up form.Bwahahahaaaaa! I thought it was just me!! I put it aside after that because I was pissed and I was being a pouty babyI remember I was telling the sa that the RiRi lipsticks were so drying and she said to get the primer and how it's a must, etc etc. I thought I'd been "had". Literally after my post earlier I thought about plopping it a little plastic Sephora or Body Shop sample container (or I have these travel ones) and giving it another whirl since everyone claims it's so good. Do you put a lip balm first? I usually like to moisturize my lips before a primer, but I remember the MAC one feeling like a balm in the first place...
No, I just put on the P+P because it feels like a balm and let it kind of dry down for a minute or two until it gets a slightly tacky feeling. Then put whatever lipstick and liner over it.
