OMG, I just placed an order for Summer Opal at Macy's. After my order I checked and it was sold out. So hopefully I got one of the last ones. I'll be super bummed if my order gets cancelled.

Are you kidding?! Since it launched, after the polishes sold out it's just only been the eye palette!! How did you catch that?!

Yeah, I'm kind of expecting the order to be canceled just because of the wacky ship date and if it does end up going through I'll be over the moon. I want to temper expectations though because I don't wanna be too bummed out if I don't get it. I figure, if I REALLY had to have it I would resort to ebay, but the fact that I'm not willing to go that far means I can live without it. After this frenzy I'm sure MAC will be savvy enough to come out with another lavender.

Mine still says ship date of May 1st.

When I joined I had to create a Specktra folder then filter the email notifications to go in there so they don't get lost. I know, I'm a nut.   You have your Gmail in conversation mode, I HATE THAT. Outlook has it too and I had to change it for work. You can definitely miss emails that way. Oh and I thought you were ignoring me, I thought you didn't like me asking if you were Hispanic. Hahahaaa! Because you responded to other posts after that. 

That's the one I missed! And one other one too! I was so sad because I love talking about my family I have to fix my gmail!!! I'll be back but I'm in lab right now! Ttys!

I am extremely aggravated! My one Bloomingdale's order got cancelled this morning! I called and they said it was because of insufficient funds (which is impossible) or some other reason (umm...like what?). Even though when I called yesterday they said everything is fine and that they don't need my new card details because it is the same account. The other from this order shipped and the money cleared on the banking charges. So, they offered me a 20% off my next purchase which I was okay with (this better include cosmetics! Planning on using this for Tom Ford Summer Collection). At the time I felt there wasn't much else to be done or said, but I just remembered that every time I phoned them they reassured me that they would never cancel an order before phoning me or at least sending me an email asking for a reply which totally pisses me off! Maybe, I should phone back and ask? Because I was worried something was going to happen I placed two orders the one that got cancelled with one LJ and another which has a pending charge with two LJs on a different card. The other two better arrive! I thought if I got the three plus the RB that I own I would have a complete collection...but nope... now I'll have tree if I'm lucky and will probably give on LJ away because I like my MAC LE in ones, twos or fours (pretty ocd!). Sorry for the long post full of complaints!!

Since I missed out on the original release I check all the sites that stock MAC every few hours and I just saw it and I jumped up and placed the order asap. I was shocked that they had it, of all the retailers I would think Nordstrom would be the one to restock. It's supposed to ship on Thursday so I'm really hopping it actually ships. Btw, I was checking Macy's now and I saw that they had a beauty powder listed from Cinderella that said it was sold out, so maybe they had a quick restock a few hours ago and then sold out?

They seem to be putting up new stock every day. They keep adding and selling out of some Heirloom Mix items and pretty much the whole Brooke Shields collection is there minus the x15 palette.

Aw thanks! It's technically my husband's side of the family, they're from La Perla, Chihuahua, Mexico, then when they shut down the mine everyone ended up in Chihuahua city, Delicias, Camargo and Ojinaga. And St. Paul, Minnesota But I am with them 24/7. In MY side of the family I only ever see my parents, my sister and my grandma. And I really only spend time with my mom and grandma out of those four because my dad and sister are super busy. But my husband's family is like the family I never had. I ADORE them. I've gone like 6 months in a row at a time where I don't think I EVER ate at home. They only live ten minutes away, I sleep on their couch, I eat their food, I leave my dog there, I spend all holidays and weekends there, I even bring the kids to work and school with me lol And it's not even because they live close by, I spend a month at a time with his mom down in Mexico, they're just the best people ever. It's like I can't remember what it was like before I met my husband because it feels like I grew up with them.

So beautiful! Hope I'm like that with my future husband's (whoever he is) family

I'm sure you will be it's actually my second marriage, and I didn't get along with my first husbands family at all. Not that we argued or anything, but we just had very different values and a very different idea of fun so hanging out always felt like a chore. HE didn't like his family, and lied to them about very big things. I didn't know how obvious it was that husband #1 was wrong for me until I met husband #2! Our families are so close that I take the kids to the children's museum with his aunt (without him), he takes the dogs to the dog park with my mom (without me), my sisters boyfriend helps his cousins with homework (without either of us), and my mom flies to Mexico to spend time with his mom (just to name a few!). And me, his aunt and his 21 year old cousin have a joint birthday party every year We're so completely intertwined! I speak fluent Spanish so that works out fine, but even though my mom doesn't speak Spanish and his mom doesn't speak English they will sit there at the kitchen table for five hours straight just shooting the breeze with their great big english-Spanish dictionary and then cry when they have to say goodbye just watch for a man who loves his family as much as you love yours! Then you'll find the one! Or maybe you should all just marry my husbands cousins and join our family

I don't understand why it went through and only got cancelled a whole day later. Also, right after it got cancelled I noticed Macy's kept showing it as being available but when I added it to my cart it would say not available and then this morning I saw LJ being shown on there as sold out. Whyyyyyy?

Bloomingdale's put up LJ for back-order so I got another one just in case (I think it's gone now though). Probably the one that was cancelled on me. The money is being withheld and it said it's expected to ship in 15 days.
