Haha I've felt that way many times, but usually I end up finding something. How do you like the brush?That promo came a day too late lol!! I have nothing I want to get from sephora at the moment!!

The brush I like!! 55 is a nice rush to have!! The ferrule and the tip looks nice too!! The floral pattern idk lol!! Pretty it sure is but I wish it was embossed on the handle than the sticker method!! I am probably just being picky lol!!

Oh and I bought the new Stila Got Inked Eyeliner Pot or whatever it's called and I've only tried it once but it was awesome. It's basically just liquid liner in a sponge in a pot like the cushion foundations. I used my Mac 210 liner brush and that is the fastest and easiest it has ever been for me to apply liner. I want to keep playing with it though. I'm worried it won't layer well so it may not be friendly to thicker cat eyes.

It's like a sticker? Hmm not sure how I feel about that. Hope it doesn't peel or rub off easily. I'm glad the brush is pretty good, looking forward to trying it out.

Norstroms is so awesome that I called after an order because that Teal GWP goodie bag didn't show up & they said that the offer was over but they had some left & they sent it out right away to me!! Stick that in your sock Sephora. I didn't have to place another order to get it!
That Teal bag came with some great samples. I was going through it & said out loud, "Ooh, I got a Chubby Stick" & immediately hubs says, "how is that possible?" Died...nooooooo idea what I was talking about
BTW, I REALLY love the Strawberry Chubby Stick on! (can't ..LOL!) no, I do!
Its really strawberry pretty.

I'm only thinking about Americans in this case. Again, it's not a put down, it's just surprising. I knew who Selena was when she died. No one else around me, outside of hispanics did, but they became familiar with her through the movie. The movie was shown several times in my school. I think big factors in being unaware of something in pop culture is youth and not being totally interested or exposed to things outside of your own interest.

I have the 6 plus, too and I wonder sometimes if people think I'm taking a selfie when really I'm just checking that my lipstick is still in place. A mirror really isn't necessary given the size of this phone. :lol:

So true! I found out about her from the movie as well and then was able to become more acquainted with her music. People these days spend so much time with their noses down their phones with endless information at their fingertips but not learning anything new (or anything at all)! *cue herd mentality*

:werd: I love that the movie got my classmates listening to her music and loving it. I was hoping it would open them up to other things. It's probably different with kids now, but when I was growing up people looked at you funny for listening to anything outside of "black" music. It was like where are you from and what the hell is that. I grew up on MTV and loved rock and pop, but didn't really have anyone to talk to about it.

Yup! I remember wanting to listen to a pop station at work, over a decade ago and someone asked me if I was Canadian just because of that.Closed-mindedness at its best!

I have two shades in the first palette and one in the second. I'll have to give it some thought if one or both are actually worth it. 544 is a color that I must have, I know that much. I've been lazy about getting it, but that color is amazing. I swatch it almost every time I go in to Sephora.

The protective screen on my phone is a mirror and that's so much more convenient since I'm always looking at my damn phone when I'm out. Yeah, I spotted it yesterday but, it's not available yet. It's a good thing because I'm being pulled every which way by so many things I want. I need more money.Off topic but I am losing my mind about the Mac/Selena collection! I love Selena! I have high hopes for this collection, but even if it's just red lips and basic stuff I'm buying. Especially if her signature or picture is on the box or packaging. I am speechless about some people not knowing who she is. Not to put anyone down, but it's just kind of amazing when you're a fan of someone for such a long time and someone else is like who?

Oh, yeah. You definitely have to include her last name to get anything on her. I was getting some of her music on iTunes a couple of weeks ago and had to do that and it's so damn annoying.
