All Things Sephora

My tube has it spelt "Amande" and so does NARS' website. That's French for almond, no? It's almond coloured to me anyways. Don't pay any mind to Sephora and its typos - they are tripping! Just like how they had one of those Giorgio Armani Eye Tints labelled as Meniut, when it's supposed to be Minuit - midnight in French. I was like what the hell is a meniut. And it's a midnight blue as well lol.

Thanks! I just read over her post!
Steuuups, yes that makes total sense and I thought of that, it's Sephora that has it spelled wrong then! Lawd!

I'm doing the skincare class tonight at Sephora I have to check it out again. I just remembered I said I'd use my Avon concealer and the Becca (that I had recently bought) before buying another. I'm feeling like the Becca may be too thick at times.

Did you all see these? I'm not in any Louboutin threads http://www.refinery29.com/2015/08/91861/christian-louboutin-new-lipsticks

I swear every time I look in the mirror it looks weird. I wonder if it oxidized? Anyone have this happen? I have dry skin though, from my understanding that happens more when someone's skin is oily?

The EL doesn't transfer at all, the only thing that would is whatever I put on top of it. The primer is verrrrry emollient. When I first put it on I found it a bit shiny but then again it's not advertised as a mattifying one...

I really like it. I personally feel it's not too thick that it never sets and it's not too thin such that it doesn't cover well! Definitely worth the price but I prefer to stock up during a sale.

Ooooh
"The line features 36 shades in three different textures — Silky Satin, Velvet Matte, and Sheer Voile — that are inspired by Louboutin handbags and shoes. As with any of Louboutin's products, the lipsticks are works of art, inspired by everything from Babylonian architecture to Art Deco to Middle Eastern antiquities. To us, they look like bullets or mermaids' tails were dipped in precious metal and then capped off with headgear stolen from the Crown Jewels. Kind of badass."

YASSSSS!!! I keep forgetting to sub the CL thread for more info. A lot of info is on IG. They're going to retail for $90 apparently. Only way I'll buy one or 3 is during the 20% off sale though, with Ebates on top lol.

Lemme wait for a sale. The only way I'd buy those lipsticks is if I won the lottery...but then I'd actually have to play that first

I once scoffed at the price of a Tom Ford lipstick. I used to get my L'Oreal lipsticks at Pennywise! TF is my line in the sand. IDFWU, Louboutin lol

How are Morphe brushes?
Morphe brushes are hit or miss.. I should do a post in the Morphe thread (If it is still here?)..

I think they’ve only been on hautelook 3 times.. and I have ordered from them each time..

Bottom line - if you see the Rose gold set in the leather case - grab it.. definitely skip the vegan set..

The gunmetal (g-series) are supposed to be really nice - Morphe sends those to YTers, but I do not think they’ve been on hautelook (I could be wrong though).. I don’t want to threadjack too much - so I will see if I can find the Morphe thread and post there in a little bit.

Mine were $11.99 so only $1 cheaper than online but they’re OOS online..but things go in and out of stock in the sale section..
Ok cool! I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't lose out by ordering online. Hopefully they pop back in stock before the extra points sale is over. Which one(s) did you get?

I only found Essex blush and the Shady business II bronzer (which is light for a bronzer and has a beautiful sheen --probably would work better as a highlight for most people)..

I swatched heartagram in store - and it is beautiful.. especially for darker skin tones (but light can wear it too - just need to be careful with it). If that comes back in stock - grab it ! ;)

How is it? Got my Ulta mag yesterday and saw it in there.
Tried it once and so far it's alright. It reminds me of Cover Fx's illuminating primer or brings to mind if I were to use a liquid illuminator on my face prior to foundation application. Foundation lasted a nice long time, HOWEVER, I was test driving a new formula so there's no way to say for sure it's due to the primer. I will try it again tomorrow, but for now, if you've got many other illuminating primers (I have at least 5 that I can think of off the top of my head), it's not a necessity.

Going to the Sephora Skincare IQ class tonight. Anyone ever do it? Okay thought this posted earlier, why is it still here. Okay, I did the Sephora class, lol.

A $25 lipstick is plenty for me
